Those who have specific knowledge, experience, and qualification in the fields of business, technology, education, and knowledged service ★ Major targets include manager, researcher, scientist, engineer, college professor, experts in the fields of finance/medical service/design construction/advanced technology (ex: IT, BT, new materials) According to 「Immigration Law Enforcement Decree」, KOTRA is handling to find out and recommend the Global Talent qualifying under E-1(professor), E-3(research), E-4(technology consulting), E-5(professional occupation), E-7(special activity) and D-8(corporate investment) ★ E-2(language instruction), E-6(arts and performance) excluded Qualification: ㅇ Over 5 years work experience in corresponding area ㅇ Bachelor’s degree + 1 year experience, ㅇ master’s and PHD degree

*Gold Card System ? - A visa recommendation letter (gold card) issued in the name of KOTRA to assist in the issuance of special activity visa (E-7) *Gold Card Benefits ⅰ. 5 Years of Visa Period - Maximum 5 years, issued actually for the employment contract period - If contract period is extended, E-7 visa can be extended indefinitely ⅱ. Visa for Multiple Trips - Re-admittance approval unnecessary - In particular, multiple C-4 with 1 year period issued Iii .Eligible for Permanent Residency After 3 year of residence in Korea, possible to apply for permanent residency visa General visa acquirer requires residence period of more than 5 years ⅳ. Spouse Employment Allowed Companion visa can be changed to working visa in Korea ’11 Oct Gold Card Issuance ⅴ. Accompanying of Household Helper Benefit corresponding to that of a diplomat ⅵ. Expanded Coverage of Qualification for Job-Seeking Visa Issuance (11.6.) Qualification - Working experience in global top 500 company or graduate of global top 200 university - Graduated (or graduate-to-be] from at least junior college in Korea within past 3 years (For junior college, only those having average GPA of greater than 3.0 or industrial skill license) Procedure - Allows to apply D10 Visa or change staying status - Job-seeking period bestowed by 6 month * Extendable up to 1 year for bachelor’s degree , up to 2 years for master’s and PHD degrees) - If employed as professional occupation (E1~E7), working Visa is allowed.
