Directions: Combine the following sentences using Comma + FANBOYS. EXAMPLE: The salesman mentioned he had years of experience. This established his credibility. The car gets terrific mpg’s. The 32mpg’s was a logical reason to buy it. The AoW has a sad case about a woman. That is not a logical argument to manipulate DNA. Many students want good grades. They do their homework. Sports are awesome. They give students a place to go, to belong and to compete.

16 Pathos [P]athos (Greek for 'suffering' / 'experience') is often associated with emotional and passionate appeal. In short, Pathos is an emotional appeal to the audience's feelings. Appealing to the audience’s feelings is accomplished when the audience feels hope and or fear.
