3. Swing dress!!
Swing Dresses, became popular in the early 1950's especially for wearing to the local hop or dance. Large and small Polka Dots in many different colour combinations were very fashionable, and are still fashionable today. But polka dot patterns were not the only pattern they loved, checkers and bright floral patterns were also funky.

4. Poodle skirt
The poodle skirt was without a doubt the most important part of the 1950s fashion. These skirts were named this way due to the poodle design they had inked on the bottom. White grey and pink were the most common colors for poodle skirts. But the poodle skirt could be found in heaps of other vibrant colours.
