3. Weather Weather is what is happening in the air outside right now.
A sunny day…
A rainy day.
A cold day…

4. Temperature Temperature is how hot or cold the weather is.
Thermometer-It tells how hot or cold it is.

5. Precipitation
Precipitation is any type of moisture falling from the sky.
Rain-Droplets of water falling from the sky
Snow-Ice crystals falling softly
Sleet or hail-Small or large pieces of ice

6. Wind Speed Wind is the movement of air
Wind can be a soft breeze or hurricane force winds of 75 miles or more
Hurricane force winds

7. Wind Direction Wind can blow from any direction
Winds blowing from the south bring warm weather
Winds blowing from the north bring cold weather

8. Wind Direction
Wind direction is measured by a wind vane or a wind sock.
Wind direction is also measured by an anemometer.
