2. First Element: Futuristic Technology
Futuristic Technology is one of the main elements of Sci-Fi. Some examples of futuristic technology in Sci-Fi are robots that can think for themselves and teleporters that can transport you across the globe in the blink of an eye

An example of futuristic technology is Eager in the novel Eager. He can think for himself and learns from his experiences

3. Second Element: The Three Laws of Robotics
Issac Asimov invented the laws of robotics
The laws of robotics are one of the key factors in a Sci- Fi novel that features robots
The Three Laws of Robotics are: 1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through action, allow a human being to come to harm. 2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings except were such orders would conflict with the first law. 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the first or second law.

4. Third Element: Good Versus Evil
Good Vs. Evil is a very common theme in Sci-Fi novels
The ‘evil’ in Sci-Fi is usually an alien bent on world domination or a person that has an army of war-bent robots that want to take over the world
An example of Good Vs. Evil are the BCD4s in Eager, they are taking hostages and causing havoc in Mrs. Bell’s hotel

5. Fourth Element: Adventure
Sci-Fi novels usually include characters who go on an adventure or journey to confront their enemy
The adventure usually has obstacles to try to stop the hero from confronting their enemy
An example of adventure in science fiction is Star Wars. The characters are always on adventures to find their enemy

6. Fifth Element: Consequences
The most common example of consequences in science fiction is time traveling. When characters in science fiction, it usually ends up with them being stuck with dinosaurs or breaking the fabrics of time and space
An example of this is in the TV show, Phineas and Ferb. They invent a time machine and get trapped in the Cretaceous with dinosaurs
