3. Step 1 – Form a team
1) Follow your school district’s rules for team formation
2) Make sure your team’s formation adheres to the rules of team formation in the Rules of the Road document

4. Step 1 – Form a team
District Deadlines:
Cy-Fair : Oct 31st
Ft Bend: Oct 31st
Katy: Oct 31st

5. Step 2 – Pick a challenge
1) Have your team decide which challenge they want to participate in.
This is the first test of team chemistry and a good starting point for teaching teamwork.
Please try to decide on a challenge early as we need solid numbers before the end of the year to plan the tournament.

6. Step 3 – Get your team number
1) Each team that participates must have a valid team number.
If you are an independent team, you will need to purchase your team number from

7. Step 4 – Register your team
1) Create an account on if you don’t have one.
Review the instructions for registering your team on
Please register early, you can still edit your information until the registration deadline in mid-January.

8. Ongoing Practice with your team
Attend team manager training sessions ( check schedule on )
Regularly check for clarifications on for your challenge.
Regularly check the website for tournament information

10/31/17 – Last day to register a team with Katy ISD, Cy-Fair ISD and Fort Bend ISD
11/30/17 – Early bird discount deadline ( independent teams only )
12/9/17 – Team Workshop – Salyards Middle School am – 12 pm
1/15/ Gulf Coast registration deadline
3/3/ Gulf Coast regional tournament – Dulles High School
4/6 – 4/7/18 – Texas affiliate tournament - Mansfield
5/21 – 5/26/18 – Global Finals – Univ of Tennessee
