1. This session is being recorded
These recordings aim to supplement students’ attendance and enhance learning. They will help to support independent study by allowing students to revisit complex ideas, improve note taking, and study at their own pace.
Students should inform you if they do not want their contributions to be recorded.
You should make sure your recordings are available through Blackboard – they are only accessible to students registered on your course.

2. Please do not use personal recording devices
Use of students’ own personal devices for recording is not allowed (unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as a recognised disability, and their tutor is in agreement).
Students are not permitted to re-record, circulate or copy the recordings.

3. Please register your attendance
Students are able to ‘touch’ in to register 10 minutes before your event starts. If they’re late, they’ll still need to do this.
Students should hold their card against the reader until it turns green – tapping or touching it too quickly may cause it to turn red (the system needs a couple of seconds to read the data on their card).
If students are scheduled for back-to-back events in the same room – we do not expect them to get up and register again. In small rooms this is manageable, however in larger lecture theatres it is not. Your programme administration teams are aware of this and will have a local process in place.
