11 Choosing your 5 courses A2 predictions in line with AS results
A* = A grade overall, with 90% or more in both/ all A2 modules BBB predictions 1 course at ABB 3 at BBB (ie on predictions) 1 at BBC Medics – 4xAAA/AAB, 1x Biomed – ABB/BBB

Insurance choice MUST be lower NB ABB quotas

13 KEY SUGGESTED DEADLINES
Monday 1st October ALL early applicants Friday 26th October ALL remaining applicants

14 Students with ‘out of the ordinary’ / questionable looking subject information in their Personal Statements must see a subject teacher UCAS PROCESS - TUTORS Student makes final amendments and s final version to tutor SUMMER TERM: Student provides tutor with information on course choice, relevant work experience and extra curricular activities Student makes changes to Personal Statement and returns it to Admin office Tutor completes reference Student drafts Personal Statement and gives to 6th form office who will pass to tutor to be checked Tutor s their Reference to Admin and tells student to paste Personal Statement into UCAS application and ‘pay and send’. Admin pass PS and Ref on to Checking Team Second check by Checking Team – if no changes needed, application sent to UCAS; if more changes needed, returned to student; checking team provides final sign-off Tutor works on Reference Tutor returns Personal Statement with amendments Checking Team member checks Personal Statement and Reference Student makes amendments and gives amended copy to tutor Key Admin = Kim and Helen Personal Statement and Reference given to Admin who give a copy of Personal Statement to student to make amendments; Reference amended by Admin The checking team is happy to provide their assigned tutors with feedback on their references at any point. Tutor checks Personal Statement

15 UCAS PROCESS – CHECKING TEAM
1st checks - Check statement and reference – send ref and statement to Admin for amendments. PS will go to tutor; Ref will go to Admin for amendments CMW to do all final checks on all early entries. MNB Once amendments made, student “Pays and Sends”, Admin prints and sends reference and statement for final check APM Final check and sign off IF ANY FURTHER CHANGES ARE NEEDED, JMB to sign off MFC PAC 1st check JMB DRAFT RCE To check Y14 CEF 1st check JLP and Y14 to check AJK Once amendments made, student “Pays and Sends”, Admin prints and sends reference and statement for final check SLW JMB Final check and sign off IF ANY FURTHER CHANGES ARE NEEDED, PAC to sign off APM 1st check APL CXW Some Y14 to check AJK 1st check CEF and Y14 to check Once amendments made, student “Pays and Sends”, Admin prints and sends reference and statement for final check CJM PAC Final check and sign off IF ANY FURTHER CHANGES ARE NEEDED, APM to sign off JMB 1st check MER BRP SomeY14 to check SLW 1st check CAM and Y14 to check
