3. Course Objectives
Learn Microsoft Word and Excel 2007 using a hands-on, step-by-step approach.
Apply basic features by completing tutorials, case problems, and projects.

4. Grading Policies
Nine week grades will be based on a total point system.
Students will accumulate points based on the following items:
Tests
Quizzes (announced and unannounced)
Projects
Homework

5. Network and Internet Use
1. Do not share your password or use any other student’s password.
2. Do not modify any settings on the computer.
3. Do not bring in personal disks or CDs without permission.
4. Do not download any files to the hard drive or the server.
5. Do not play games on the computer or the Internet.
6. Print only class work. All other printing is with permission and will cost $.10 per page.
7. Do not use the Internet during class unless it is part of the assignment.

6. Classroom Rules Be on time to school and class everyday.
Be courteous and respectful to others.
Complete your own work.
Clean up workstation when finished.
Bring required materials to class—no locker trips.
Stay at your workstation and no rolling on chairs.
Take care of all equipment as if it were your own.
Report hardware and software problems immediately.
No food or drink in the lab.
