Accept and analyze your emotions. Consider why you are feeling your emotions and address the cause. Seek out help when you feel overwhelmed. Find alternatives to drug use. Release excess energy and learn how to relax. Practice patience.

Learn how to refuse drugs effectively. Prepare yourself for situations where you may be offered drugs. Analyze media and advertising.

17 First Aid for Alcohol or Drug Overdose
Keep the victim awake and conscious. Protect overly active, aggressive, or panic-stricken victims. Monitor the victim’s breathing. Reassure the victim that he or she will be ok. Call for emergency medical services.
