Be prepared – know the material and bring all supplies to class with you
Dump information – if you are concerned that you might forget a formula, rule, definition, etc. then write it on the back of the test as soon as you get it.
Read the directions very carefully

Budget time accordingly
Do the questions that you know first, skip the ones that you are not sure of and go back to them later
When the answer is not immediately clear, read it again carefully looking for clue words as to what you are supposed to do.

Attempt answers even if you are not sure of the question.

6. After the Test Compare how you prepared with how you performed
Look at the questions that you got wrong to see if you understand where you made your mistake.
Correct wrong answers and keep the test for future exams
Seek extra help from instructor is still not clear

Review the test taking strategies just discussed and list those which you have NOT used in the past on tests.
