1 Modelling & Simulation Of Carbon Recycling Technology Through Conversion Of CO2 Into Multipurpose Fuels : Sponsored By DST, New Delhi The pilot plant at RGPV Bhopal is one of the unique Carbon Capture & Sequestration plant for CO2 conversion into Hydrogen, Methane & Bio-diesel through Algae Route The Project is divided into three phases: I. Plant to capture CO2 from Flue Gasses and its regeneration prior to sequestration and conversion into fuel molecules. II. Conversion of the captured CO2 into fuel molecules including Hydrogen, Methane III. Production of Bio Diesel from Micro Algae.

5 SAMPLE TEST RESULTS Test results on Capture of CO2 in the month of March 2009 with Boiler on full load: 1. Ambient CO2: 0.0% CO: 0.0ppm 2. Scrubber CO2: 7.9% CO: 2454ppm 3. MEA-02 CO2: 1.7% CO: 1177ppm % CO2 Capture /7.9x100=78.48%
