Modernising Nursing in the Community Board established in September 2009.
To provide leadership and vision to support NHS Boards to develop and deliver:
- High Quality
- Sustainable and
- Person centred community nursing services.

To develop a framework for public health nursing (0-19) which will assist NHS Boards in the provision of high quality, sustainable public health nursing in the community.
To adopt a coordinated Scotland wide approach while enabling local solutions.
