2. DEFINITIONS
Computer peripherals computer is additional equipment needed for the purpose - other purposes. For example the network connection, printing, or take pictures. Peripheral include Printer, Scanner, Modem, Network Card, and so forth. Installing peripherals include a physical installation and the installation of the software. Physical installation includes installation of peripherals with the good and true, and the installation software peripherals include the introduction of the operating system to install the necessary drivers.

According to the function & their role is 2 are: 1. Main Peripheral & 2. Peripheral Auxilarry  According to the work process is divided peripheral  into 2, namely: 1. Peripheral Input & 2. Peripheral Output

Peripherals through a physical connector port:  Serial

5. Peripherals through a physical connector port:

23. Modem
Internal modem is a modem that plug in the motherboard in the form of cards. Same installation techniques such as business cards - another card in general. While  External modem is that can be installed and removed at any - time. Since the installation of the modem just plug the supplied connectors like USB or Serial Port

25. Peripheral physically
Here is how some peripheral installation of physical and software setup. In general, almost the same installation of peripherals. Here are given examples of printers and scanners installation.
Printer Step - step installation physical printer:  Plug the printer cable to the printer and parallel port connectors male / plug the USB port on the computer correctly.

Make sure the printer is installed Catridge correctly. Connect the printer to the grid. And make sure there ativitas in the printer (catrigde move). Until these steps are physically peripheral installation is complete. Next live installation for the installation of driver software

Doing Corrective Action

29. Corrective Action
Corrective action is intended as an initial step    can be taken to overcome the abnormal condition.  Abnormality of the peripheral symptoms can be ascertained from     error message in the computer.
Corrective action needs to be done is to      recognize the error message that appears.  Any damage or maintenance on a     peripherals necessary records or making     report. The report can be a log sheet or the like.

30. Corrective Action
Then the error message can be     isolated into a smaller scope, for example in     the input or at the driver.  Furthermore, we can determine the steps     improvement.  As an example of abnormal symptoms on the keyboard, while     booting will be seen that the keyboard error message.
