Pests are like the public enemy number one if you have an allotment. Here are some ways you could use to keep them at bay:
Hang old cd’s to scare away birds.
If you want to get rid of weeds don’t use a rotator as certain types of weeds e.g. couch grass or nettles will be chopped up and spread and begin to multiply.
If you like being creative , build a scarecrow.

4. compost To make compost you need:
A mixture of nitrogen and carbon to make it work.
Green waste e.g. grass /leaves is high in nitrogen .
