Learfield Sports partners with more than 120 grocery companies across the nation. Each of our partners trust Learfield Sports with their college sports marketing efforts to educate the public and grow their brands. We take pride in serving our partners, placing a special emphasis on building genuine and enduring relationships. Our diverse range of brands and over 40 years of experience in college sports marketing has prepared us to develop successful, targeted programs for any grocery partner. 2 GROCERY PARTNERS Success Stories HYVEE– Iowa State
HyVee, a grocery chain positioned throughout the Midwest, has major partnerships with 12 Learfield properties. One of the larger partnerships that HyVee has is with Cyclone Sports Properties. HyVee values their partnership because of the opportunity to increase their involvement in the community while positioning themselves as the exclusive grocery partner of Iowa State athletics. With such a large involvement in college athletics throughout the Midwestern states, HyVee has always seen the benefits of sports marketing and the excitement that comes along with the college sports atmosphere. HyVee utilizes signage, radio, digital, print, and promotions, and event sponsorships to align the HyVee brand with Iowa State athletics. HEB– Texas State HEB, a national grocery chain with 2 locations in the San Marcos area, has been a long standing partner with Bobcat Sports Properties because of the opportunity it gives them to become an active member of the Texas State community. HEB is primarily focused on driving traffic to the stores through different promotions with Texas State athletics, including a “tailgater of the game” promotion and various on-court fan engagement contests. At each home football game, an HEB representative drives a golf cart around the tailgate area and picks the best tailgate to be featured on the video board as the “HEB tailgater of the game.” Winners receive an HEB gift card and HEB is highlighted as the exclusive grocery partner of the Texas State Bobcats.

3 HARRIS TEETER – UNC GROCERY PARTNERS Success Stories
Harris Teeter has been a long-standing partner of UNC Tar Heels athletics because of the opportunity to engage with fans in a variety of different platforms. As presenting sponsor of “Late Night with Roy,” the basketball event that marks the beginning of the basketball season in October, Harris Teeter is able to successfully accomplish branding with the UNC fan base in a fun, engaging, and family friendly environment. Along with the LNWR sponsorship, Harris Teeter utilizes their partnership with UNC to promote the Million Meals Challenge Food Drive which generates yearlong support from students, alumni, fans, and student organizations who strive to give back to their community, with UNC athletics offering a perfect platform to create awareness and involvement. Fans can contribute through a text-to-give campaign via radio, PA announcements, video board features as well as food collection stations that are placed at the gates prior to a selected sponsored men’s basketball game. These elements allow Harris Teeter to position themselves as part of a charitable team comprised of the 4 North Carolina ACC schools that are involved with the The Million Meals Challenge campaign.
