Questions being asked by Americans include: -Will Jesus return physically and reign on earth for 1000 years? Will Christians go through a seven-year tribulation? Will Christians be raptured and unbelievers be left behind? Is Israel prominent during the end times events? Is the Messiah coming the first or the second time to earth? Many people think of eternity as being in the distant future. But eternity is just around the corner, literally in some cases a heart beat away. There was a story of a country man who was arrested for stealing a watch. At his trial, the prosecuting attorney did everything he could to prove the man’s guilt, but there was not enough evidence. He could not be found guilty, so the judge told him, “John, you’ve been acquitted. You can go home.” And the man replied, “Does that mean I have to give the watch back?”

A spiritual enmity between God and Satan begins in Genesis 3 and continues until the closing chapters of Revelation. Satan wages this war against God by attacking God’s children; as he does, he “wounds the heart of God.” Satan wages this spiritual war in masquerade. He never “shows” himself, but always operates “behind” and through others. He is always in disguise, and his disguise is so complete that even those through whom he works do not know he is present. * Satan always appeals to our reason rather than revelation. That is why he works so hard in our culture to scientifically reason away belief in God. He appeals to the head, not the heart.

Biblical “holy war” is a war waged by an “unbelieving” religious empire (unbelief in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob or His Christ) against either Jews or Christians for the purpose of conversion or subjugation to the unbelieving empire. *

Biblical holy war is prophesied to be waged specifically against one of two religious groups, Jews or Christians. Daniel 7:21-22, 23-25; 8:24; 11:36, 45; 12:7; Revelation 12:17; 13:7; 17:6; 17:8, and 17:14 all include one of these two groups as the foe of the unbelieving empire that wages the holy war. Daniel 7:21“I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them 22 until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom. 23“Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it. 24‘As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings. 25‘He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. Daniel 8:24“His power will be mighty, but not by his own power, And he will destroy to an extraordinary degree And prosper and perform his will; He will destroy mighty men and the holy people. Daniel 11:36“Then the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will speak monstrous things against the God of gods; and he will prosper until the indignation is finished, for that which is decreed will be done. 45“He will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain; yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him. Daniel 12:7 I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed. Revelation 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. 13:7 It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. 17:6 And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered greatly. 17:8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction. And those who dwell on the earth, whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder when they see the beast, that he was and is not and will come. 17:14 These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.”

The Ancient Roman Empire, the Holy Roman Empire, the Crusades, the Inquisitions by the Roman Catholic Church, the Protestant Church, and the wars or killings by them do not constitute Biblical holy war because they were not waged by an unbelieving empire against Jews or Christians.

Islam has waged holy war, i.e., jihad, against Jews, Christians, and others, throughout its history. The Middle East, Asia Minor, Egypt and North Africa, were, prior to the seventh century AD, predominantly Christian. These areas are now Muslim.

Conversion to Islam may have been sudden (as in a holy war conflict) or extended over years through the persecution and taxation imposed by Islam upon “Dhimmis,” along with the prohibition by Islam of evangelization by Christians or maintenance of houses of worship.

The Qur’an is filled with verses that authorized forced conversion or subjugation of non-Muslims to Islam. The Ishmaelites have been enemies of God and the Jewish people since ancient times. Psalm 83:2-8 prophesies of a never ending effort to remove the Jewish people from the face of the earth. Why is it important to identify the empire at enmity with God in the interpretation of Bible prophecy? Find the unbelieving empire that wages holy war against Jews and Christians and you will have found the hatred of Satan in the Last Days. Psalm 83:2 For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, And those who hate You have exalted themselves. 3 They make shrewd plans against Your people, And conspire together against Your treasured ones. 4 They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, That the name of Israel be remembered no more.” 5 For they have conspired together with one mind; Against You they make a covenant: 6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites; 7 Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assyria also has joined with them; They have become a help to the children of Lot.

The kingdom represented by the feet of the statue of Daniel 2 is a “final kingdom” that follows the “fourth kingdom” (the legs of iron). Rome is represented by the “legs of iron,” but not the feet. The feet are the kingdom that will rise up against the kingdom that endures forever, i.e., Christianity.

This final kingdom will be at enmity with God. Rome is not this kingdom. Rome is on the side of the God of the Bible. The final kingdom at enmity with God will be a “divided kingdom.” Islam is a divided kingdom. Daniel 2:41. Daniel 2:41 “In that you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom; but it will have in it the toughness of iron, inasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with common clay.

The final kingdom at enmity with God will “combine with one another” in the “seed of men.” Shi`ah Islam combines in the seed of men, the “people of the house of Ali” . Ali is the closest family member of Muhammad. He married Muhammad’s daughter, Fatima, and Shi`ahs believe only descendants of Ali and Fatima qualify as “legitimate” Imams. Daniel 2:43. Daniel 2:43 “And in that you saw the iron mixed with common clay, they will combine with one another in the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, even as iron does not combine with pottery.

The final kingdom at enmity with God will not adhere to itself. Islam, particularly Shi`ah Islam, does not adhere to itself. Shi`ah Islam has numerous branches depicting differing beliefs in the true line of legitimate Imams. Daniel 2:43.

The final kingdom at enmity with God will be composed of “both strong and weak parts.” Islam is composed of a stronger sect, Sunnis, and a weaker sect, Shiàhs. Sunnis have historically persecuted Shiàhs throughout Muslim history, and in fact many Sunnis consider Shiàhs unbelievers. Daniel 2:42. Daniel 2:42“As the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of pottery, so some of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be brittle.

The final kingdom at enmity with God will have “ten horns” who “rule” simultaneously. Islam has ten leaders, the Companions, the Ten Promised Paradise” who were said to be promised paradise” by Muhammad. After Muhammad’s death, these ten were elected the “successors” to Muhammad by “consensus.” Daniel 7:7. Daniel 7:7“After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.

The final kingdom at enmity with God will be “different” from the prior three kingdoms, Babylon, Medo-Persia, and the Greeks (Daniel 7:7). Islam is different from the three prior kingdoms; it alone is a spiritual kingdom. Daniel 7:7 “After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.

The final kingdom at enmity with God will have a “little horn” that comes up among the ten horns and pulls three of the ten out by the roots (Daniel 7:8). Shi`ah Islam retroactively made Ali as its legitimate successor (Imam) to Muhammad as of the Battle of Karbala, 680 AD. This action usurped the prior three caliphs of Islam, Abu Bakr ( ), Umar ( ), and Uthman ( ) who had been “elected” as caliphs subsequent to Muhammad’s death, 632 AD. * Daniel 7:8“While I was contemplating the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great boasts.

The first beast (from the sea) (Rev 13:1-10) and the 4th beast of Daniel 7 are the same beast. The first beast is a spiritual being in the same way that Satan is a spiritual being. He is the “deity” of a false religion. By interpretation, the first beast is Allah. He is Satan’s appointee who masquerades as an “angel of light.” Revelation 13:1 And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. 2 And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. 3 I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; 4 they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5 There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints.

The first beast has seven heads, one of which dies and nearly kills the first beast. The head that dies symbolizes Muhammad who died in 632 AD after leading Islam for only twenty-two years. His death should have ended Islam but it did not. The first beast, i.e., Islam, recovers and flourishes.

The seven heads of the first beast symbolize Muhammad and the Quraysh regime followed by six successive regimes and six caliphal periods of Islam. The ten horns of the beast symbolize the ten caliphates of Islam that reigned during these caliphal periods. Three of the periods included two caliphates, bringing the total to ten.

The Bible prophesies of a future kingdom that will dominate the entire world. Only those whose names are in the “book of life” since the foundation of the world will not worship the beast. Islam meets the Bible’s prophetic criteria. In addition, from within Islam’s own prophecies, it is prophesied to one day have dominion over the entire world.

There is one “thread” that is always present in Last Days’ Bible prophecies: a holy war against Jews and/or Christians. This same thread is found in the Bible’s prophecies regarding the “harlot.” The birthplace of Islam is Saudi Arabia. Since the 7 th century AD, she has made herself “drunk with the blood of the saints.”

God’s judgment will use the harlot’s own sin to destroy her. Sunni Islam’s first high-water mark against Shi`ahs occurred in 680 AD at the Battle of Karbala. It has not ended since that day even to the modern times. God’s judgment against the harlot, Saudi Arabia, will be by the hand of Shi`ah Islam. Al-Mahdi will lead this effort.

God’s judgment will likewise use the harlot’s “wine” from her own cup, poured out upon her head. Saudi oil has made herself and the merchants of the world wealthy and great. It has been used to possess the economic appetites of the modern world. The oil will likewise be the instrument used by God to return His judgment upon the head of the harlot..

The 8th head of the scarlet beast, i.e., the Mahdi, will lead an alliance of ten other Muslim groups or nations to destroy the harlot. Their ultimate purpose will be to destroy Saudi Arabia for the “immoralities” she has committed with the kings of the earth, which, to Islam, is seen as a prostitution of Islam. A secondary reason for the Mahdi’s attack against the woman is that the West has aligned herself with Israel; thus, we are to be destroyed as she is to be destroyed. The weapon of al-Mahdi will be the removal of Saudi oil from the free world markets.

2) The Rise of Fundamentalist Islam and the Coming World Leader

Life under Muslim influence: -Muslims rejected democracy as a system of human laws which are considered as inferior to divine Sharia law. -Sharia law imposed in America solved the problems of immorality and crime due to the imposition of severe punishments. -Fundamentalist Islam displaced Moderate Islam based on violent Jihad as an approved ideology.

Life under Muslim influence: -American influence declined due to mountains of debt and withdrawal of support for Israel in exchange for Arab oil and promises of peace A world leader came to power over an Islamic-European union promising peace. -The Saudi royal family fell to Iranian control of the land and oil of Arabia.

Life under Muslim influence: -A spiritual leader came into prominence claiming to represent Christians and Muslims. -Due to the economic downturn, people were unable to buy and sell if they were unwilling to acknowledge “Allah is great”. (Rev. 20:4) Revelation 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

The Role of Islam in the End times: -The key question will be who is God: Allah of the Koran or the God of the Bible. -All three world religions teach that Israel and Jerusalem will be the focus of the end times. (Zech. 14:1-3) -World political powers come and go but world religions remain. Zechariah 14:3 Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle.

The Role of Islam in the End times: -Muslims believe that only Islam can eliminate immorality Muslims believe it is Allah’s will for Islam to dominate the world. -Muslims resent America for its wealth, immorality, wars of invasion, support of Arab dictators, and backing of Israel.

The Role of Islam in the End times: -Muslims long for the Golden Age ( ) and recall the Crusader’s attempts to destroy them Muslim clerics speak out on politics whereas Christian pastors do not. -Muslims turn to their religious political parties because their secular political parties have failed them.

Current trends in the Islamic world: -Rising support for fundamentalism and a turning away from secularism. -Growing anger and frustration at the state of poverty and powerlessness compared to Western countries as they witness the contrasts on satellite TV and the internet. -Jewish return and revival in Israel during humiliating Arab military defeats in 1948, 1967, and 1973.

End times scenario: The framework of the end times is similar but the outcomes are different between the three world religions Will the reign be a Jewish millennium, a Christian millennium, or an Islamic caliphate? -Will the world leader be a new Jewish Messiah, the returning Jesus of Christianity, or the Islamic Al-Mahdi?

End times scenario: Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979 became the one who prepares the way for the “Expected One” (similar to John the Baptist). * -Al-Mahdi will be a descendant of Muhammad through his wife Fatima. He will be 40 years of age and will reign in Iraq for seven years His army will come from Khurasan (Iran)and march on Jerusalem.

What are the means to attain world power? 1) Trade access to Middle Eastern oil for withdrawal of support for Israel. 2) Obtain nuclear weapons capability in the Middle East using it as a threat to regional Arab countries and a deterrent to Western intervention. * 3) Replace Arab dictators with fundamentalist leaders (Shia clerics and Muslim Brotherhood leaders).

What are the means to attain world power? 4) Overthrow the Saudi royal family. 5) Fundamentalists will take power in Pakistan and Afghanistan. 6) Overthrow dictators in Syria and Yemen replacing them with Fundamentalists. 7) The U.N. will insist on peace in the Middle East forcing concessions by Israel and Western powers.

Biblical Evidences for an Islamic anti-Christ: 1) The curse of Ham was on Canaan and the inhabitants of the Middle East. (Genesis 9:22-27) ) Islamic nations will implement an Islamic calendar which begins in the year 622 C.E. (Daniel 7:25) ) Islamic nations will implement Sharia laws (Daniel 7:25). And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined. 27 “And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”

Luke 21:24…and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. 4) Biblical Prophecy Describing the End Times

Four Principles of God toward Israel: 1) God declared the Jews to be His chosen people (Deuteronomy 7:6). 2) God gave the land of Canaan to the Jewish descendants of Abraham (Genesis 17:7-8) ) God scattered the Jews for unbelief (Deuteronomy 28:62-65) ) God re-gathered the Jews in their homeland (Ezekiel 36:24). God promised a Seed, a land, and the gospel through Israel to all the world. God’s promise of Israel’s return to her land is an unconditional covenant (Jeremiah 32:37). Therefore God will replant Israel back in the land given to Abraham’s descendants (Jeremiah 32:4). Zechariah repeats the history of God’s promise to Israel in Zechariah 10:2-12. He states three promises: (1) The land was promised by God in Genesis 12:7, (2) The boundaries were established by God in Genesis 15:18-21, and (3) The promise is everlasting in Genesis 17:7-8. There were three departures in the history of Israel. They are: (1) Jacob’s family of seventy moved to Egypt during the famine and returned as two million people 400 years later under Joshua, (2) the Assyrian captivity in 722 B.C. in the North and the Babylonian captivity in 586 B.C. in the South returning under Zerubbabel in 516 B.C. ,and (3) the Roman dispersion in 70 A.D. with the return delayed until 1948 under the British mandate and 1967 through war.

Four World Empires in our Past: -Each is characterized as gold, silver, copper, and iron/clay (Daniel 2:31-35). * -Each was revealed prophetically when written but are now historically known. -These empires are the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Greek, and Roman/Byzantine (Daniel 2:39-44) This vision of Daniel is about events in our current past. John has revealed to us that prophetic meaning more often than not has a “now and not yet” dual meaning as he records in I John 3: Daniel 2:31“You, O king, were looking and behold, there was a single great statue; that statue, which was large and of extraordinary splendor, was standing in front of you, and its appearance was awesome. 32“The head of that statue was made of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of bronze, 33its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. 34“You continued looking until a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and crushed them. 35“Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were crushed all at the same time and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them was found. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. Daniel 2:39“After you there will arise another kingdom inferior to you, then another third kingdom of bronze, which will rule over all the earth. 40“Then there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; inasmuch as iron crushes and shatters all things, so, like iron that breaks in pieces, it will crush and break all these in pieces. 41“In that you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom; but it will have in it the toughness of iron, inasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with common clay. 42“As the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of pottery, so some of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be brittle. 43“And in that you saw the iron mixed with common clay, they will combine with one another in the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, even as iron does not combine with pottery. 44“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.

The uniquely Christian promise: -The Rapture will remove all Christian believers from the Earth No sign nor event will precede the Rapture The Rapture will precede the Tribulation. -The Rapture will precede the Second Coming of Christ by at least seven years.

The uniquely Christian promise: -The Rapture is private, the Second Coming is public (I Thessalonians 4:13-18;Revelation 3:10) The body and soul of each believer living and dead will be united (I Corinthians 15:52). -All of the Biblical signs and events concerning last things precede the Second Coming(Matthew 24:3-6). I Thessalonians 4:13But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. Revelation 3:10 ‘Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. I Corinthians 15:52…in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. Matthew 24:3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.

Future Resurrection and Reunification of the Nation of Israel from Ezekiel 37:1-28: -The “dry bones” are the nation of Israel. - “Dried up” implies a dead faith. - “Cut off” implies a people dispersed. - “Two sticks” represent the tribe of Judah(including Benjamin) and the tribe of Ephraim(including the ten northern tribes) which are reunited as one people and nation. -The people will be brought back to their homeland (Jeremiah 37:12). Ezekiel 37: 11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’ 12 “Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel. 16 “And you, son of man, take for yourself one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah and for the sons of Israel, his companions’; then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.’ Jeremiah 37: 12 that Jeremiah went out from Jerusalem to go to the land of Benjamin in order to take possession of some property there among the people.

The First War-Gog and Magog: -This battle will involve a confederation of Russian and Islamic nations invading Israel. -Gog is a person (Ezekiel 38:14;39:1). -Magog are the ancient Scythians (AKA Mongols, Tartars, Goths) which are todays peoples of Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, and Georgia (Genesis 10:1-2;Ezekiel 38:2). * The Battle of Gog and Magog described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 will precede the Battle of Armageddon. The confederation of enemies of Israel will descend from the North but god will intervene supernaturally to defeat and punish Israel’s enemies. Ezekiel 38:14“Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it? 39:1“And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal; Genesis 10:1 Now these are the records of the generations of Shem, Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah; and sons were born to them after the flood. 2 The sons of Japheth were Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras. The First War-Gog and Magog: -Rosh is probably Russia (Rosh means a chief prince whereas Rus means a geographic place)(Ezekiel 38:6,15;39:2). * -Meshech and Tubal are peoples of Turkey (Meshech is probably Mushki a city in Phrygia, Western Asia Minor in Ezekiel’s day. Tubal is a city in Eastern Asia Minor in Ezekiel’s day). (Ezekiel 38:2-3) Persia is Iran, Put is Libya, and Cush is Ethiopia and Sudan (Genesis 10:6; Ezekiel 38:5). Ezekiel 38:6 Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you. 15 “You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army; :2 and I will turn you around, drive you on, take you up from the remotest parts of the north and bring you against the mountains of Israel. 38:2“Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him 3 and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. Genesis 10:6 The sons of Ham were Cush and Mizraim and Put and Canaan. Ezekiel 38: 5 Persia, Ethiopia and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet.

The First War-Gog and Magog: -The invasion will occur after the Rapture and at or near the beginning of the Tribulation (Ezekiel 38:8,14,16) Syria and Lebanon will probably be complicit with the invaders coming from and through the North (Ezekiel 38:15). Ezekiel 38:8 “After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them. 14“Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it? 16 and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I am sanctified through you before their eyes, O Gog.” “You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army;

The First War-Gog and Magog: -Gomer is probably Gimarrai a city in Cappadocia in North Central Asia Minor in Ezekiel’s day (Genesis 10:3;Ezekiel 38:6). -Togarmah is probably Tilgarimmu a city in South Eastern Asia Minor in Ezekiel’s day (Genesis 10:3;Ezekiel 38:6). -Several Islamic nations are non-participants-Sheba and Dedan are Arabia, Genesis 10:3 The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah. Ezekiel 38:6 Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you.

The First War-Gog and Magog: Yemen, Oman, Kuwait, and the U.A.E. (Ezekiel 38;13) * -Several important Western nations appear to be non-participants-Tarshish may be Great Britain and the young lions may be the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand (Ezekiel 38:13) “Many other nations” could be any nation (Ezekiel 38:6). Ezekiel 38:13 “Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, ‘Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?’ ” ’ 38:6 Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you.

The First War-Gog and Magog: -The invaders will be defeated by God’s intervention (Ezekiel 39:2-4). -God’s weapons will be earthquake (Ezekiel 38:19-20), confusion (Ezekiel 38:21), disease (Ezekiel 38:22), and fire (Ezekiel 38:22). ** ** -It will take seven months to bury the dead of the invaders (Ezekiel 39:14). -It will take seven years to burn the weapons (Ezekiel 39:9). Ezekiel 39:2 and I will turn you around, drive you on, take you up from the remotest parts of the north and bring you against the mountains of Israel. 3“I will strike your bow from your left hand and dash down your arrows from your right hand. 4“You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and beast of the field. 38:19“In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will surely be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20“The fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all the creeping things that creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; the mountains also will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse and every wall will fall to the ground. 21“I will call for a sword against him on all My mountains,” declares the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22“With pestilence and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, with hailstones, fire and brimstone. 39:14 “They will set apart men who will constantly pass through the land, burying those who were passing through, even those left on the surface of the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search. 9“Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will go out and make fires with the weapons and burn them, both shields and bucklers, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears, and for seven years they will make fires of them.

Jeremiah 49: 34 That which came as the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying: 35“Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Behold, I am going to break the bow of Elam, The finest of their might. 36‘I will bring upon Elam the four winds From the four ends of heaven, And will scatter them to all these winds; And there will be no nation To which the outcasts of Elam will not go. 37‘So I will shatter Elam before their enemies And before those who seek their lives; And I will bring calamity upon them, Even My fierce anger,’ declares the Lord, ‘And I will send out the sword after them Until I have consumed them. 38‘Then I will set My throne in Elam And destroy out of it king and princes,’ Declares the Lord. 39‘But it will come about in the last days That I will restore the fortunes of Elam,’ ”

The First war-Gog and Magog: -Approximately 85% of the invading armies will be destroyed (31 million soldiers out of a population of 480 million comprising the invading nations) (Ezekiel 39:2). * -Gog comes from the North (Ezekiel 38:14-16) Israel will be un walled (Ezekiel 38:12-13). Ezekiel 39:2 and I will turn you around, drive you on, take you up from the remotest parts of the north and bring you against the mountains of Israel. 38:14 “Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it? 15 “You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army; 16 and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. The World Empire in our Future: -An empire is prophesied to arise in the future as a beast with ten horns (Daniel 7:7). - One nation out of the ten will conquer three of the ten (Daniel 7:8). -The leader of this nation will be the beast of Revelation 13:1 and the anti-Christ of I John 2:18,22;4:3, and II John 7. Daniel 7:7 “After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8“While I was contemplating the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great boasts. Revelation 13:1 And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. I John 2:18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. 22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son :3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. II John 7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

The World Empire in our Future: -The number of the beast is 666 (Revelation 13:16-18). * -He will be charismatic (Revelation 13:5). -He will be cruel (Daniel 7:23,25). -He will curse God and demand to be worshipped (Revelation 13:4-5). -He will receive a mortal wound yet live (Revelation 13:3) He will reign for seven years (Revelation 13:5). Revelation 13:16 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six. 5 There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. Daniel 7:23 “Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it. 25 ‘He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time Revelation 13:4 they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5 There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast;

The Second War-Armageddon: -This war will take place at Megiddo, meaning the place of slaughter (Revelation 16:16) ** -This battle occurs at the end of the Tribulation. -All the nations will be involved (Joel 3:2; Zechariah 14:2) Invading armies will converge from four directions (Daniel 11:40-45; Revelation 16:12-16). Megiddo is located between the plain of Jezreel and the west coast of Israel. Deborah, Gideon, and Saul fought decisive battles here Revelation 16:16 And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon. Joel 3:2 I will gather all the nations And bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there On behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land Zechariah 14:2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city Daniel 11:40 “At the end time the king of the South will collide with him, and the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, with horsemen and with many ships; and he will enter countries, overflow them and pass through. 41 “He will also enter the Beautiful Land, and many countries will fall; but these will be rescued out of his hand: Edom, Moab and the foremost of the sons of Ammon. 42 “Then he will stretch out his hand against other countries, and the land of Egypt will not escape. 43 “But he will gain control over the hidden treasures of gold and silver and over all the precious things of Egypt; and Libyans and Ethiopians will follow at his heels. 44 “But rumors from the East and from the North will disturb him, and he will go forth with great wrath to destroy and annihilate many. 45 “He will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain; yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him Revelation 16:12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east. Armageddon 13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; 14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty. 15 (“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame.”) 16 And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon.

The Second war-Armageddon: -Anti-Christ will be the leader (Revelation 13:4-7) The invading armies will be defeated by Christ (Revelation 19:15,21). -Israel will be protected (Zechariah 14:11). -Christ’s army will include believers and angels coming forth from heaven (Zechariah 14:5). Revelation 13:4 they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5 There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. Revelation 19:15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. Zechariah 14:11 People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security. 5 You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!

The Second War-Armageddon: -The beast and the false prophet will be cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 19:20).* -The Battle of Armageddon is described in Revelation 16:16 through 19:20 and in Zechariah 14:1-21. Both the Anti-Christ and many, many nations of the earth will move to destroy Israel. Two-thirds of Israel will be destroyed but a remnant will be preserved unharmed. Christ will return to the Mount of Olives following entry into Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate described in Exodus 43:2. Both angels and glorified saints will accompany Christ at His return based on I Thessalonians 3:13 and Jude 14. After Christ’s victory over Anti-Christ at Jerusalem, Israel will be (1) inhabited, (2) at peace, and (3) secure. Israel’s enemies will be defeated by: (1) plagues, (2) panic, and (3) Israeli military successes Revelation 19:20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.

5) Koranic Prophecy Concerning the End Times

Roots of Islamic Aggression: -Military Holy War is a duty of all Muslims in order to advance the lands controlled by Islam. -There is a 4000 year old enmity between the descendants of Isaac and Ishmael. * -There are wrongs to be avenged such as the brutality inflicted by the Crusaders. -There is the belief that the true God will give victory if a people are obedient to Him and ruthless to the enemy.

Surah 5:20. Remember Moses said to his people: “O my people! Call in remembrance the favour of Allah unto you, when He produced prophets among you, made you kings, and gave you what He had not given to any other among the peoples. 21.“O my people! Enter the holy land which Allah hath assigned unto you, and turn not back ignominiously, for then will ye be overthrown, to your own ruin.” Surah 7:137. And We made a people, considered weak (and of no account), inheritors of lands in both east and west—lands whereon We sent down Our blessings. The fair promise of thy Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy, and We leveled to the ground the great works and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride). 138. We took the Children of Israel (with safety) across the sea. They came upon a people devoted entirely to some idols they had. They said: “O Moses! Fashion for us a god like unto the gods they have.” He said: “Surely ye are a people without knowledge. 17:104 And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel, “Dwell securely in the land (of promise)”: but when the second of the warnings came to pass, We gathered you together in a mingled crowd. Surah 18:93. Until, when he reached (a tract) between two mountains, he found, beneath them, a people who scarcely understood a word. 94.They said: “O Zul-qarnain! The Gog and Magog (People) do great mischief on earth: shall we then render thee tribute in order that thou mightest erect a barrier between us and them?

Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah; 4:172 Christ disdaineth nor to serve and worship Allah, nor do the angels, those nearest (to Allah): those who disdain His worship and are arrogant—He will gather them all together unto Himself to (answer).

Some of our misunderstandings regarding Islam: The Koran calls for violent Jihad (S.2: ;5:33;8:39;8:12-13;9:29,and 47:4). -Terrorism including suicide bombing of civilians is acceptable to Muslim radicals. -There is a continual expulsion of Christians and Jews from Muslim lands. -The Dome of the Rock is not located over the ancient Temple site but is over the Court of the Gentiles ** Surah 2:190. Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. 191.And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith :33 The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter; :39 And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): “I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.” 13. Pre-Temple History: God revealed Mt. Moriah as the place of sacrifice and sanctuary to Abraham (Genesis 22:2,14) * -God revealed to Moses at Mt. Sinai the blueprint for construction of the dwelling (Exodus 25:8-9,40). * God told David to make preparations to build a Temple in Jerusalem (I Chronicles 29:16; II Samuel 24:24-25). * Genesis 22:2 He said, “Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.” 14 Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide, as it is said to this day, “In the mount of the Lord it will be provided.” Exodus 25:8 “Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them. 9 “According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct it “See that you make them after the pattern for them, which was shown to you on the mountain. Background Issues: The Sanhedrin must be reconvened to set the rules to rebuild the Third temple. It first met in 1490 B.C. as constituted by God through Moses (Numbers 11:16-17). It last met in 453 A.D. in Tiberius. -In purification, hyssop mixed with water contains anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties not discovered until 1880 (Numbers 19:6). Numbers 11: 16 The Lord therefore said to Moses, “Gather for Me seventy men from the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and their officers and bring them to the tent of meeting, and let them take their stand there with you. 17 “Then I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take of the Spirit who is upon you, and will put Him upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you will not bear it all alone :6 ‘The priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet material and cast it into the midst of the burning heifer.

Background Issues: The Ark of the Covenant is not mentioned after II Chronicles 8:11. Some believe it is hidden under the Temple Mount. Others believe it remains in Aksum, Ethiopia having been transported there by Prince Menelik I who was Solomon and Sheba’s son. -The wealth of Solomon’s treasury consisted of 300 tons of gold, 30,000 tons of silver, plus other valuable materials. Two items are missing from the vision of Ezekiel written in 573 B.C. which are (1) the Ark of the Covenant and (2) the Veil separating the Holy of Holies from the two inner rooms with the sacred vessels. This is logically because the glory of the Lord fills the entire Temple replacing the glory previously appearing only over the Ark of the Covenant and because the veil was rent and approach made possible by Christ’s crucifixion. The Third Temple measurements are so extensive and precise as stated in Ezekiel 40:1 through 41:1-26 and 43:1-11 that this temple is yet future and is both literal and physical There was a seven-pronged lampstand in front of the Ark of the Covenant in the original temple. Its purpose was to cast light on the Ark. The Holy Spirit likewise will cast light on Christ in our lives so that we can see Him and understand Him better. II Chronicles 8:11 Then Solomon brought Pharaoh’s daughter up from the city of David to the house which he had built for her, for he said, “My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy where the ark of the Lord has entered.”

Background Issues: The Temple Mount could support 250,000 persons The Copper Scroll is a series of maps purporting to locate the burial location of treasure and Temple implements. -The priestly line of Aaron was determined by a unique “Y” chromosome.

Likely Conditions for Locating the Third Temple: The Dome of the Rock, Al Aqsa mosque, and the Temple will simultaneously occupy the Temple Mount for a few years. -For a time, Muslims will worship on Fridays, Jews on Saturdays, and Christians on Sundays on the Temple Mount The Third Temple will be rebuilt north of the Dome of the Rock The existence of the Temple will be a flashpoint for war.

Timing of the Rebuilding of the Third Temple: -Following the rapture and war of Ezekiel 38 and 39, a covenant of peace will be signed by Israel and her enemies for a term of seven years (Daniel 9:24-27) The Temple will be defiled after three and one half years (Matthew 24:15). -Muslims plan to open the East Gate to prove the error of the Old Testament (Ezekiel 44:1-3). 7) The Biblical Beast:

Description of the Beast and his kingdom -The beast and Anti-Christ as a person are one and the same The ten kingdoms are likely to be Egypt, Ethiopia-Sudan, Libya, Morocco, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, and Algeria. These are currently all Islamic and historically were part of the Roman Empire (Daniel 7:7-8) * Daniel 7:7 “After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8 “While I was contemplating the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great boasts.

Description of the Beast and his kingdom: -The ten kingdoms will arise out of the (area of the Mediterranean) sea (Daniel 7:3).* -He will conquer three kingdoms which are Egypt, Libya, and Ethiopia-Sudan (Daniel 11:43) Historically the seven heads were empires consisting of: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, and the Islamic caliphate (Revelation 12:3;13:1;17:3,7,8,11). Daniel 7:3 “And four great beasts were coming up from the sea, different from one another. 11:43 “But he will gain control over the hidden treasures of gold and silver and over all the precious things of Egypt; and Libyans and Ethiopians will follow at his heels. Revelation 12:3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. 13:1 And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. 17:3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. 7 And the angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? Daniel 8:21 “The shaggy goat represents the kingdom of Greece, and the large horn that is between his eyes is the first king. 22 “The broken horn and the four horns that arose in its place represent four kingdoms which will arise from his nation, although not with his power. Micah 7:12 It will be a day when they will come to you From Assyria and the cities of Egypt, From Egypt even to the Euphrates, Even from sea to sea and mountain to mountain. Daniel 8:9 Out of one of them came forth a rather small horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Beautiful Land.

Description of the Beast and his followers: -He will rule over Israel and many nations for seven years (Revelation 13:4-7). -He will come from a small group of people (Daniel 11:23) located East of Jerusalem (Daniel 8:9) He will deny that Jesus is the Son of God (I John 2:22). Revelation 14:4 they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5 There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. Daniel 11:23 “After an alliance is made with him he will practice deception, and he will go up and gain power with a small force of people. 8:9 Out of one of them came forth a rather small horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Beautiful Land. I John 2:22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.

Description of the Beast and his followers: -Muslim suicide martyrs always wear a red cloth (Revelation 6:4) Islamic armies go to war under a green flag (Revelation 6:8). * -Victims of Islamic violence are murdered by beheading (Revelation 20:4; S. 8:12). * -The False Prophet will be a person claiming to be Jesus (Revelation 13:11-16). Revelation 6:4 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 8 I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth. 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Surah 8:12. Antiochus IV Epiphanes ( B.C.) is an historical person who was a forerunner to the End Times Anti-Christ. Daniel 11:40 “At the end time the king of the South will collide with him, and the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, with horsemen and with many ships; and he will enter countries, overflow them and pass through.

-End Times prophecy of the king of the North- -Modern day Jordan is not invaded by him (Daniel 11:41) In a retelling of Daniel 7:8, he will conquer Egypt, Libya, and Ethiopia/Sudan (Daniel 11:42-43) He goes to war with armies from the North and from the East (Daniel 11:44). The “little horn” is the Anti-Christ who will defeat the three kings of the north, south, and east. Daniel 11:41 “He will also enter the Beautiful Land, and many countries will fall; but these will be rescued out of his hand: Edom, Moab and the foremost of the sons of Ammon. 42 “Then he will stretch out his hand against other countries, and the land of Egypt will not escape. 43 “But he will gain control over the hidden treasures of gold and silver and over all the precious things of Egypt; and Libyans and Ethiopians will follow at his heels. 44 “But rumors from the East and from the North will disturb him, and he will go forth with great wrath to destroy and annihilate many.

The name Abdullah means “servant of Allah” The god (Allah) of this man will receive worship as God (Revelation 13:15). Daniel 11:39 “He will take action against the strongest of fortresses with the help of a foreign god; he will give great honor to those who acknowledge him and will cause them to rule over the many, and will parcel out land for a price. Revelation 13:15 And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

End Times Prophecy of Revelation 12,13, and 17: The child born in Revelation 12:1-2 is the Messiah (v.5) The red dragon in Revelation 12:3-4 is Satan (v.9) The beast is the enemy empire led by the Anti-Christ and a retelling of Daniel 2 and 7 (Revelation 13:1-2). Seven is the number of perfection…Horns represent omnipotence…Eyes represent omnipresence.

Pale green is the color of chlorine mustard gas which is classified as a weapon of mass destruction. It is also the color of a cadaver after death has replaced life. He knows the victory of Jesus is his defeat Genesis 37:9 Now he had still another dream, and related it to his brothers, and said, “Lo, I have had still another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” Daniel 7:25 ‘He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. 12:11 “From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 “How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days! 13 “But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age.” I John 2:18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour :1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

The Beasts of Revelation Chapter 13: -The Beast from the Sea comes from the Gentiles (v.1) (Dan. 7:3). * *Ten horns are ten nations. This beast is the Anti-Christ The Beast from the Land is in the form of a Lamb. This beast is the False Prophet. * *The Mark of the Beast is 666. Anti-Christ who has recovered from an apparent mortal wound mocks the power of death over him. The False Prophet performs signs and miracles in the image of a Lamb mimicking Christ. The tests of a true prophet are listed in Deuteronomy 18:15-22 and 13:1-5 which are: (1) He must be Jewish, (2) He must speak only in the name of the Lord, (3) He will perform miracles and healings, (4) He will accurately predict both near and distant future events, and (5) His words must conform to previous and other biblical truth. In Revelation 13:8 the reference to the mark of the beast as a number 666 should be understood in the following way; neither Hebrew nor Greek has a written system of numbers so numbers were assigned to the letters of their respective alphabets and by taking a proper name and adding up letter by letter the total values numerically of each letter you end up with a single total number. For example “Caesar Nero”, “Adolf Hitler”, and “Beast” each add up numerically to The false prophet is appropriately called the Anti-spirit Revelation 13:1 And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. The Messages of Revelation Chapter 14: -Babylon fallen is the demise of false religions of the world(v.8). -Hell is a real and everlasting condition of punishment(vs.10,11). The First Harvest is Christ judging the faithful(vs.14-16) (Joel 3:16; Isaiah 63:3-6). -The Second Harvest results in the angels reaping unbelievers according to God’s wrath(vs.17-20). Revelation 14:8 And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her immorality.” Doom for Worshipers of the Beast 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 “And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man, having a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying out with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 Then He who sat on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped. 17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle. 18 Then another angel, the one who has power over fire, came out from the altar; and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Put in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, because her grapes are ripe.” 19 So the angel swung his sickle to the earth and gathered the clusters from the vine of the earth, and threw them into the great wine press of the wrath of God. 20 And the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out from the wine press, up to the horses’ bridles, for a distance of two hundred miles. Joel 3:16 The Lord roars from Zion And utters His voice from Jerusalem, And the heavens and the earth tremble. But the Lord is a refuge for His people And a stronghold to the sons of Israel. Isaiah 63:3 “I have trodden the wine trough alone, And from the peoples there was no man with Me. I also trod them in My anger And trampled them in My wrath; And their lifeblood is sprinkled on My garments, And I stained all My raiment. 4 “For the day of vengeance was in My heart, And My year of redemption has come. 5 “I looked, and there was no one to help, And I was astonished and there was no one to uphold; So My own arm brought salvation to Me, And My wrath upheld Me. 6 “I trod down the peoples in My anger And made them drunk in My wrath, And I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.”

The Seven Bowl Judgments of Revelation Chapter 16: Unlike the Trumpets all the peoples of the earth are effected These Bowl Judgments are reminiscent of the plagues in Egypt.

The Seven Bowl Judgments of Revelation Chapter 16: * -The First Bowl produces sores on all who have the mark of the Beast(v.2) (Exodus 9:8-10) The Second Bowl turns all the seas to blood(v.3) The Third Bowl turns all the rivers to blood(vs.4-7) (Exodus 7:14-21). Revelation 16:2 So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth; and it became a loathsome and malignant sore on the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image. 3 The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood like that of a dead man; and every living thing in the sea died. 4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of waters; and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying, “Righteous are You, who are and who were, O Holy One, because You judged these things; 6 for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. They deserve it.” 7 And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.” Exodus 9:8 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Take for yourselves handfuls of soot from a kiln, and let Moses throw it toward the sky in the sight of Pharaoh. 9 “It will become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and will become boils breaking out with sores on man and beast through all the land of Egypt.” 10 So they took soot from a kiln, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses threw it toward the sky, and it became boils breaking out with sores on man and beast : 14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn; he refuses to let the people go. 15 “Go to Pharaoh in the morning as he is going out to the water, and station yourself to meet him on the bank of the Nile; and you shall take in your hand the staff that was turned into a serpent. 16 “You shall say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, sent me to you, saying, “Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness. But behold, you have not listened until now.” 17 ‘Thus says the Lord, “By this you shall know that I am the Lord: behold, I will strike the water that is in the Nile with the staff that is in my hand, and it will be turned to blood. 18 “The fish that are in the Nile will die, and the Nile will become foul, and the Egyptians will find difficulty in drinking water from the Nile.” ’ ” 19 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, over their streams, and over their pools, and over all their reservoirs of water, that they may become blood; and there will be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.’ ” 20 So Moses and Aaron did even as the Lord had commanded. And he lifted up the staff and struck the water that was in the Nile, in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants, and all the water that was in the Nile was turned to blood. 21 The fish that were in the Nile died, and the Nile became foul, so that the Egyptians could not drink water from the Nile. And the blood was through all the land of Egypt.

The Seven Bowl Judgments of Revelation Chapter 16: The Fourth Bowl causes the sun to scorch all men(vs.8-9) The Fifth Bowl covers the earth in darkness(vs.10-11) (Exodus 10:21-23). -The Sixth Bowl produces evil spirits like frogs(12-16) (Lev.11:10;Ex.8:2-14) and the Euphrates River to dry up in readiness for the invasion of 200 million soldiers from the East. God through Moses caused the Red Sea in like manner to divide providing a dry path for the Israelites to escape and for the waters to return destroying the Egyptian army The four fallen angels lead four evil kingdoms located in the vicinity of the Euphrates river. Revelation 16:8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire. 9 Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory. 10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain, 11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds. 12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east. Armageddon 13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; 14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty. 15 (“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame.”) 16 And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon. Exodus 10:21 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even a darkness which may be felt.” 22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days. 23 They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but all the sons of Israel had light in their dwellings Leviticus 11:10 ‘But whatever is in the seas and in the rivers that does not have fins and scales among all the teeming life of the water, and among all the living creatures that are in the water, they are detestable things to you, Exodus 8:2 “But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite your whole territory with frogs. 3 “The Nile will swarm with frogs, which will come up and go into your house and into your bedroom and on your bed, and into the houses of your servants and on your people, and into your ovens and into your kneading bowls. 4 “So the frogs will come up on you and your people and all your servants.” ’ ” 5 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your staff over the rivers, over the streams and over the pools, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt.’ ” 6 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt. 7 The magicians did the same with their secret arts, making frogs come up on the land of Egypt. 8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said, “Entreat the Lord that He remove the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to the Lord.” 9 Moses said to Pharaoh, “The honor is yours to tell me: when shall I entreat for you and your servants and your people, that the frogs be destroyed from you and your houses, that they may be left only in the Nile?” 10 Then he said, “Tomorrow.” So he said, “May it be according to your word, that you may know that there is no one like the Lord our God. 11 “The frogs will depart from you and your houses and your servants and your people; they will be left only in the Nile.” 12 Then Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried to the Lord concerning the frogs which He had inflicted upon Pharaoh. 13 The Lord did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died out of the houses, the courts, and the fields. 14 So they piled them in heaps, and the land became foul.

The Seven Bowl Judgments of Revelation Chapter 16: The Seventh Bowl produces fire and hailstorms(vs.17-21) (Ex.9:18-26) and results in the cleaving of Jerusalem into two parts. John’s vision here reminds us of Daniel’s vision of the fiery furnace involving “My shack, Your shack, and A bungalow”! Revelation 16:17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, “It is done.” 18 And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty. 19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And huge hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, came down from heaven upon men; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague was extremely severe Exodus 9:18 “Behold, about this time tomorrow, I will send a very heavy hail, such as has not been seen in Egypt from the day it was founded until now. 19 “Now therefore send, bring your livestock and whatever you have in the field to safety. Every man and beast that is found in the field and is not brought home, when the hail comes down on them, will die.” ’ ” 20 The one among the servants of Pharaoh who feared the word of the Lord made his servants and his livestock flee into the houses; 21 but he who paid no regard to the word of the Lord left his servants and his livestock in the field. 22 Now the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that hail may fall on all the land of Egypt, on man and on beast and on every plant of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.” 23 Moses stretched out his staff toward the sky, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down to the earth. And the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt. 24 So there was hail, and fire flashing continually in the midst of the hail, very severe, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. 25 The hail struck all that was in the field through all the land of Egypt, both man and beast; the hail also struck every plant of the field and shattered every tree of the field. 26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the sons of Israel were, there was no hail.

The Harlot and the Scarlet Beast of Revelation Chapter 17 and 18: The Harlot is the agent of the Red Dragon(Satan) and the Beast(Anti-Christ) as a system representing the religious system of the False Prophet(v.4) (Jeremiah 51:7). -The Harlot Woman in Chapter 17 is the same as the City Babylon in Chapter 18. This is not Rome or Roman Catholicism or the European Union but a religious system which is defeated by a political system of the Beast which will be destroyed by Christ Babylon is not a literal city because it does not have a seaport as described in verses The City is accused of (1) worldliness, (2) religious idolatry, and (3) greedy consumerism. The causes for her destruction are (1) wealth accumulating in only a few persons, (2) false religions, and(3) for murdering past saints in inquisitions and martyrdoms The sorrows spoken of are seen in the daily news each day all around the world. I believe that our present sorrows are signs and warnings signaling that we need to prepare those around us for the coming of Jesus Christ. Revelation 17:4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality, Jeremiah 51:7 Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the Lord, Intoxicating all the earth. The nations have drunk of her wine; Therefore the nations are going mad.

The Victorious Events of Revelation Chapter 19: Victory is declared by the saints in heaven(v.1-2) Justice is rendered on the wicked(vs.2-5). -The Marriage Supper of Christ and believers is inaugurated(v.9) Christ mounts a White Horse in triumph(v.11) The Beast, False Prophet, and unbelieving armies are cast into the Lake of Fire(vs.17-20). The wedding of believers as the Bride (the church) with the groom (Christ) previously occurred at the Rapture (v.7). Armageddon begins with the Bowl Judgments announced in Revelation 14:14 and concluding in Revelation 19: One of the reasons I don’t believe the church will go through the Tribulation is because then we would know the exact date and time of the Lord’s return to establish His kingdom yet we are told that no one knows the date and time of His return. Revelation 19:1 After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God; 2 because His judgments are true and righteous; for He has judged the great harlot who was corrupting the earth with her immorality, and He has avenged the blood of His bond-servants on her.” 3 And a second time they said, “Hallelujah! Her smoke rises up forever and ever.” 4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” 5 And a voice came from the throne, saying, “Give praise to our God, all you His bond-servants, you who fear Him, the small and the great.” 9 Then he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’ ” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.” 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. 17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which fly in mid heaven, “Come, assemble for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, both free men and slaves, and small and great.” 19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.
