Having spent his entire surveying career working in Broward County, he is extremely knowledgeable of the rules, requirements and has the experience in providing surveying and mapping services to South Florida municipalities. He specializes in public
work and engineering design type surveys, land acquisition, easements, title research, and computer mapping.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE Mr. Furniss has 37 years of experience in all phases of land surveying including boundary, hydrographic, route, topographic, and as-built surveys, preparing sketch and descriptions, legal descriptions, record plats, and boundary descriptions for annexations for municipalities, all with CGA. He began his career as a rodman and worked in the field for the first 20years of his employment. He has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s electronic data collection processing and procedures.
