Select classes that fit your interests and talents Take advantage of help from teachers, guidance advisors, administrators, including tutorial Implement time management skills Implement study skills Sleep

Active Study Suggestions
Passive Strategy Active Strategy Viewing homework as a 3-hour chore Skimming or rereading book or text Setting specific time goals to finish one subject or task at a time. For example, setting a timer or alarm for minutes. Rewriting notes, creating flash cards or “cheat sheets”, or quizlet.com

Good uses of Tutorial Make up exams
Ask a teacher for clarification on an assignment Work on homework Study for tests Pick up missed work due to absence
