Developed by the Texas Test Plan Team to support automatic testing of retail transactions. Allows market participants automated testing to verify internal system changes that do not require complete market testing. Reduces the effort required to complete certification testing. Improves the ‘time-to-market’. Will not replace a thorough end-to-end market testing.

Describes the current Texas Test Plan Team role and responsibilities. RMGRR 025 Retail Customer Transition Business Process Clearly States the Role of the PUC to be consistent with current Market practices Works in a cooperative manner to establish processes and procedures for testing the Market Participants commercial operations to verify retail system compliant with ERCOT Protocols and PUC rulemaking. Develops processes and procedures for testing that represent the consensus view of Market Participants directly involved in the testing process. Evaluates market processes defined by the ERCOT Protocols, other RMS working groups, and PUC rulemakings to establish testing requirements and materials necessary to validate those processes among Market Participants.
