We believe in homework at Lindsey Elementary!  Comply to district guidelines concerning the recommended number of minutes students should spend completing homework – 10 minutes x student’s grade level Will NOT include new content, but will be an opportunity to practice skills we’re teaching in class Will consist of reading, math and/or spelling Homework specifics can be found in the grade level newsletter sent in an from your child’s teacher and in the red folder Please make sure to fill in the homework log in the red daily folder each night showing what your child worked on. 10 Student leadership roles
The Leader in Me is a process we will use to empower our students with leadership and life skills they need to thrive in the 21st century. Our goal is to help students develop the skills and self-confidence they need to lead their lives in school and beyond. We will integrate leadership development into existing school programs, curricula, and traditions. Specifically, The Leader in Me will provide opportunities for our students to participate in: Goal setting Data tracking Student leadership roles Jasha

12 Is there a grade level handbook?
Of course there is!!! Use this link to locate the hand book. It can also be found on the Lindsey webpage, under Faculty Web Sites, on the 1st Grade Site, there is a tab just for the handbook. Please read it, print the last signature page, sign and return it to your child’s teacher in the red folder after you have read through it. If you would like a hard copy of the handbook, or just need to signature page printed, please your child’s teacher. Amy
