5
Team: Purpose: DATA GATHERING Board, Administration, and Fanning Howey
Align Feasibility Study outcomes with: Curricular program delivery Enrollment trends Other criteria relevant to Vigo CSC Collect existing high school facility documentation
6
Team: Purpose: ANALYSIS Administration and Fanning Howey

Team: Purpose: ANALYSIS Administration and Fanning Howey
Calculate building capacity as a function of available space compared to the number of classes taught in a five period day
13
Building Capacity: ANALYSIS TERRE HAUTE SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL
83 teaching stations x 25 students/class x 80% utilization = 1,660 student capacity TERRE HAUTE NORTH HIGH SCHOOL 83 teaching stations x 25 students/class x 80% utilization = 1,660 student capacity WEST VIGO HIGH SCHOOL 45 teaching stations x 25 students/class x 80% utilization = 900 student capacity
14
Team: Purpose: ANALYSIS Administration and Fanning Howey
Compare building capacities with area per student benchmarks for high schools in Indiana STUDENT CAPACITY SF/STUDENT 1, 1, 2,
15
Team: Purpose: ANALYSIS Administration and Fanning Howey

Most high-performing Indiana high schools undergo:
RECOMMENDATIONS Most high-performing Indiana high schools undergo: Major remodeling at 15-year intervals Major renovations at 25 to 30-year intervals
33
RECOMMENDATIONS The Feasibility Study findings indicate that a significant facility improvement initiative for these three high schools and West Vigo Middle School is warranted
