An overview on campus climate for disability intended to demonstrate the status quo and provide recommendations for policy, practice, and future research disabilities.
Methodology
Synthesis and analysis of research on campus climate for disability
Focus on addressing campus climate at the institutional level: what can institutions do?
Campus climate: “attitudes, behaviors, and standards of faculty, staff, administrators and students concerning the level of respect for individual needs, abilities and potential” (University of California Office of the President, 2014)
Who would be interested in reading the brief?
Faculty, disability services personnel, staff and administrators in offices that work with students with disabilities, student leaders on college campuses.
