Gallery Walk Activity:
There are six stations around the room. You will have about 3 minutes per station. Record the information about the items in your graphic organizer.
When you have recorded the chemical formula for each item, return to your seat and complete Part 2 (filling in column C)

4. Abiotic vs. Biotic Forms of Carbon
Abiotic = Related to non-living components or factors in a natural system.
Biotic = Related to living components or factors in a natural system.
On your graphic organizer, label each form of carbon as either biotic or abiotic. Discuss and justify your choice to your neighbor.
