3. Introduction
This Book Chapter Project was done so the students can have an idea about the layout and the format of a book. By designing a book , we were able to learn how a author writes and the satisfaction felt after is gtes published.
The purpose of this book is that it will be a guide for everyone facing the same problems as we did earlier. It will help the students learn about the fundamentals of management which are really important as management is needed to function efficiently in this fast growing world.

9. Two Essential Definitions
1. Planning Planning is basic in management. Failure to plan is planning to fail. It is an unending process. That’s the reason why there is such a thing called Plan A and Plan B. Planning requires the application of certain strategies to make sure internal and external factors will not affect the operations of the business. In planning, the most basic tool is the use of the SWOT analysis to know the strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in every action the business organization will take.
