2 Aims and tasks On-line monitoring (starting/stopping) the beamline parameters and experimental conditions (SR beam position/intensity, preasure, temperature, etc.). Collecting the data and storing it. Browsing the previously collected and stored data. Remote control of the monitoring software.

3 Solutions Simple stand along application AMonitor was designed and developed. The application subscribes for several attributes of device servers, collects data from that attributes and stores it in the local file system with down to 1sec time resolution. AMonitor allows one to observe online last collected data (during last 450sec) and browse previously collected data at the same time. File name of the storage file is generated automatically (date and time stamp is used for it). It is planned to connect this application with TANGO archiving system (to subscribe device server attributes, to start/stop archiving) and archiving database (to browse the monitored data). AMonitor was realized under Linux using C/C++ and Glade2 as a graphical interface builder.

5 Conclusions Simple device server attribute monitor stand alone application AMonitor was designed, developed and realized under Linux operating system allowing one at the same time to observe online monitored data and browse the previously monitored data. AMonitor is used currently at i911-4 and i811 beamlines under RedHat and CentOS operating systems. AMonitor can be modified to operate with TANGO archiving system as well.
