3. Be of one mind/ Ser de una mente
Have mind set on the same things as God (Mark 8:33)
Our minds should be thinking about the same things, since we all have the mind of Christ - Romans 8:5
Our thoughts are informed by the word, since we have all received the same truth

4. Have Compassion/Tener compasión
Word is sympathy – means suffer together
Romans 12:15-16; Hebrews 13:3
Share the same feelings
Share same spiritual emotions – praise, etc.

5. Love as brothers Amarse unos a otros como hermanos
Philadelphia – love of family members
(1Peter 1:22)
Love one another as Jesus loves us
(John 13:14,34,35)
It is a love God teaches us through Holy Spirit (1Thess.4:9-10)
Examples: Romans 12:10; Ephesians 4:2; 1John 5:1-2

6. Be tender-hearted/Ser Bondadoso
Word implies a “gut level” sympathy, whereby deep feelings lead to healing actions
Ephesians 4:32
Matthew 11:29-30 “kind & easy”
Galatians 6:1-3– carry each other’s burdens

7. Be Humble-minded/Ser humilde de mente
Courteous – considerate, respectful
Have a humble opinion of oneself
Don’t compare ourselves to people, but see ourselves in light of who God is
We are totally dependent on god
Phil.2:3; 1Peter 5:5

8. Bless Everyone/Bendice a todos
NIV 1 Peter 3:9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
