2. Solving Systems of Linear Equations by Substitution
Solve one of the equations for one of the variables (x or y)
Substitute the expression from step 1 into the other equation and solve for the other variable
Substitute the value from step 2 into either of the original equations and solve
Answer is an ordered pair. You can check it by testing if it is a solution to both equations.
