The Mission of the South Central Assembly is to encourage collaboration, cooperation, and development of regional solutions, and the sharing of best practices between communities within the eight counties of South Central Pennsylvania.

14. York Housing Advisory Commission
YHAC provides relevant and useful advice to improve housing in the York Community.
YHAC serves in an advisory capacity on affordable housing issues to the Board of County Commissioners, the York County Planning Commission’s Housing and Community Development Department, the Mayor of the City of York and York City’s Community Development Department.
YHAC operates through 3 standing committees - the Affordable Housing Committee, the Continuum of Care Committee, and the Education and Outreach Committee.
The Education and Outreach Committee has been instrumental in offering this Regional Housing Summit.
