There many types of cameras available today in the market. It ranges from the simple Point and Shoot to the professional large Format Cameras. This module we are going to focus on two types of cameras: Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) and Mirrorless (EVIL, Electronic Viewfinder, Interchangeable Lens). DSLR cameras A digital single-lens reflex camera (also called a digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera that combines the optics and the mechanisms of a single-lens reflex camera with a digital imaging sensor, as opposed to photographic film.

Mirrorless camera A mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (MILC) is a digital camera with an interchangeable lens. A mirrorless camera uses an image sensor to provide an image to the electronic viewfinder (EVF). It is called mirrorless since it does not have a movable mirror in the optical path.
