Research into life of a fort in the Iron Age and find Hill First using grid references, Use a plan from an archaeological dig to draw/ build a structure. Art – Research and make Iron Age Torcs. Explore Iron Age tribal names and totem animals and design an authentic totem animal. D&T –Iron Age based - recreate a round house; weave with wool; cook oatcakes, make cheese and make a game (dice/knucklebones) Christmas Fayre - items for school business. P.E – Links with Geography ( map work/ running) Trail and treasure hunt Physical challenge and problem-solving activities. ICT – ANIMATION Design a short stop-motion animation. Identify what makes a good animation – plan using story boarding.
