SAT - Spring 2017 % Meeting Benchmarks
Our goal is to increase the number of kids from this community who go to college and come back with a good job and live great lives. Ensuring that more matriculate through high school and graduate is just the first step; now we have to shift our focus toward ensuring that all who graduate are fully ready for college and career. This is the end of our SIG grant; we’ve made great strides. Now the challenge will be do this with reduced staff, funds, and support. Do I have to see SIG go? Yes. Can we carry on? Yes. We are as prepared as adults in schools (admin, teachers, staff, and parents) can be to move on to the next level of achievement. 12
