2 SWOT of Coimbatore Chapter
Strength: There were competitions from CS Private Tuition Centers till Now Chapter is not facing competition from any Private Tuition Centers. In the present scenario, Private Centers are not able to attain even 25 % of Student’s Strength of ICSI-Coimbatore Chapter. Weekness: Branding and promotion of the CS course in rural areas would be accelerated. Opportunity: Coimbatore is the hub of educational institutions and students from the nearest districts like Tirupur, Erode, Nilgiris, Dindigul, Trichy etc are relocating to Coimbatore for their higher/professional studies. Threat: Number of Resource persons for quality classes for CS course and their availability are very less. 

3 Student Conference for ICSI students & College Students
Strategy  to increase registration – Steps already taken, steps to be taken Student Conference for ICSI students & College Students Steps already taken Steps to be taken 15th Student Conference” of ICSI-Coimbatore Chapter “CS- Corp Smart 2016” on the theme “ CS Profession- Empowering the Smarters” at Dr.NGP College (One Day Conference with many competitions- CS Students and students from 20 colleges participated the Conference and more than 500 students had participated) August Chapter has scheduled 3 Mega Students conference along with Colleges 2) Corporate Quiz for Higher Secondary Students Mega- Event- Corporate Quiz 2016 for Higher Secondary Students in Association with “The New Indian Express and Dinamani” as Media Partners on at Hindusthan College of Arts & Science. Around 40 Higher Sec Schools had participated September Chapter has scheduled a Corporate Quiz in association with Medias and expecting a participation from minimum 50 Hr Sec Schools in and around Coimbatore. 3) Press Release/Write-up about CS course and last date of registration Total 24 News Papers had published Press Releases/ Write-ups about CS course at Free of Cost during the year 2016. During the month of March 2017, The New Indian Express, Dinamani, Dinamalar etc published write up about CS course and its last date. Year 2017 planning to publish 25 Press Releases/Write ups about CS course.

4 4) Campaign: Admission Utsav Steps already taken Steps to be taken
Chapter organised 4 campaigns during the year 2016 and one campaign during the year Free Press releases with detailed write up about CS course published during this campaign. Visited 60 schools & Colleges for this Campaign. About the Campaign: The main objective of this campaign is to make aware the Plus Two passed / appearing students about the last date of CS Foundation admission and its Importance, procedure for admission, location and role of chapter etc. Posters were specially designed for this campaign. visited colleges and schools with specially designed posters. During the campaign, visited News Paper offices for publishing the Press Release about the information “last date for registration”.   Continuing the aforesaid campaign during the month of May, August, September & November (during last date of CS registration) 5) Campaign - Admission Centers Chapter organised Admission Centre Campaign as a pilot study during the month of March 2017 and conducted spot registration centres in Karpagam University, NGP College & Kikani School at Coimbatore successfully.  About the Campaign: During March & September month of every year, Chapter will contact and send request to Schools & Colleges for having a temporary Admission Centre for spot registration for their students for admission of CS foundation. Chapter will put up a stall in Schools & Colleges for supporting their students for Spot Admission for CS course with the facilities of Laptop, Printer, Scanner, Internet etc. September 2017 – Chapter has scheduled a Corporate Quiz in association with Medias and expecting participation from minimum 50 Hr Sec Schools in and around Coimbatore.

5 5) Two Tier detailed Career Orientation programme for students visiting to Chapter
Steps already taken Steps to be taken Chapter used to conduct Two Tier orientation programme for all students who are visiting to the chapters for course enquiries. An excel sheet is maintaining for recording the detailed particulars of the students. Major attraction of the counselling is the “Plus Two commerce book of Tamilnadu state syllabus”, wherein mentions about Company Secretaries, Role of ICSI (mandatory appointment of CS), Importance of CS, Function & Duties of CS, Statutory & General duties of CS are well explained in the 5th Chapter – “Joint Stock Companies”. Chapter is showing each and every students who are visiting and explaining the content and the role of ICSI. This strategy is attracting plus two commerce students. Continuing this strategy.

6 Month-wise micro controls to achieve the targets
Strategies March Organized Campaign: Admission Utsav & Admission Centres April Participated in 5 Education Expos May To organize Admission Utsav & Admission Centers June Career Awareness Programmes July Proposed Mega Career Awareness Programme with minimum 1000 students. Programme address by ICSI-HQ at Karpagam University, Avinashilingam Deemed University, Karunya University, PSG college, NGP College etc at Coimbatore. August To organize Campaign: Admission Utsav & Admission Centers Student Conference for ICSI students & College Students September Corporate Quiz for Higher Secondary Students October-November
