2 Why Should Young Women Be Concerned?
How prevalent is pornography? Who is using it? When is it being used? What are we going to do?

3 BIBLICAL FOUNDATIONS Viewing pornography is adultery, which is a sin against one’s own body. “But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28, NKJV) “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.” (1 Corinthians 6:18, NKJV) Pornography addiction is a form of bondage; a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. (1 Peter 2:19)

4 Believers are set free from sin and instead to be slaves to righteousness (Romans 6:18)
Pornography is considered a kind of idolatry which reveals what is meant to be kept holy. "I will set nothing wicked before my eyes ..." (Psalm 101:3, NKJV) "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews13:4, NKJV) 13:4, NKJV)

5 Pornography is particularly harmful to children.
Pornography is destructive to those involved and also innocent bystanders. "Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked." (Psalm 82:3-4, NKJV) Pornography is particularly harmful to children. "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea." (Mark 9:42, NKJV)

6 FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLES
FreeImages.com/Sam LeVan “At the time of the adoption of the First Amendment, obscenity law was not as fully developed as libel law, but there is sufficiently contemporaneous evidence to show that obscenity, too, was outside the protection intended for speech and press.” – Roth v. United States, 1957

11 We are working to see: An increased awareness that the demand for pornography and prostitutes drives both the pornography and sex trafficking industries; To educate the public about the harms to children, women and men from pornography and prostitution and the prevalence of sex slavery even here in the United States. Continued advocacy for higher moral standards in the American entertainment industry. Efforts made at the forefront of anti-trafficking efforts to establish sound policies that will "end demand" and protect vulnerable girls and women Continued lobbying for legislation without loopholes in order to increase prosecutions against exploiters and mandate consistent strict enforcement of laws regarding pornography, prostitution and sexual slavery.
