3 Form Tests & Examinations (Important dates)
First Term Form Test (27/10 – 1/11) 4 days Examination (9/1 – 19/1) 9 days Second Term Form Test (20/3 – 23/3) days Examination (5/6 – 15/6) 9 days No supp test/exam for absentee (Assessed Mark from Daily Mark) * Marking Day – 16/6 Fallback day of exam (or for teacher marking) ** Post-exam paper checking – 19/6 & 20/6

F.1A/F.2A No PTH lessons but with PTH Form Test

For Group B subjects: B.K., Music, PTH, V.A., L.E. & P.E. Daily Assessment based on Assignments, Dictations, Quizzes, Tests

6 F.1/2 Life Enrichment (生命教育)
New school-based curriculum (L.E) 1 period per cycle Include learning elements: Careers-in-class Value education Information Literacy Study skills, e.g. note-taking Personal Finance Co-curricular activities such as project learning

7 2. F.2 Class Allocation - Based on the Year Result. - Students with Discipline or/and Overall Conduct below C+ in the second term will NOT be allocated to classes A and B. * Putonghua is adopted as the Medium of Instruction (PMI) for Chinese Language.

8 3. Students NOT eligible to be promoted to the next class level
(a) Fail in the Year Grand Average; OR (b) Fail in any one of the following subjects: English Language, Chinese Language, Mathematics or Liberal Studies; OR (c) Fail in more than ONE Group A subject; OR (d) Fail in more than TWO Group B subjects; OR (e) Non-submission of assignments exceeding 50 times throughout the year; OR (f) Grade D or below in ALL the following aspects: (i) Diligence (ii) Discipline (iii) Manner (iv) Sociability

Performance Booster --- for Core subjects (Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics) Performance Booster 1 (2nd Term) 2/3 – 5/4 (3 cycles) Performance Booster 2 (After 2nd Term Exam) 4/7 – 11/7 (6 days)

Students Promoted-on-trial Performance Booster 2 Target group: F.1 – F.3 Students having failed (with the Year Average Mark less than 50%) or ranked bottom 20 in any one of the following subjects --- Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics

11 Post-exam Supplementary Tests for Group A Subjects (4 July 2017)
Students Promoted-on-trial Post-exam Supplementary Tests for Group A Subjects (4 July 2017) Target group: F.1 & F. 2 Students having failed (with the Year Average Mark less than 50%) in more than one of the following subjects --- Chinese History, Geography, History and Integrated Science Students will be eligible for promotion under the condition that they pass in the supplementary test(s).
