3. Introduction
Education in Britain is different from other countries. It may be the time we work, the subjects we learn or what ages we go to school till. Schools in France are different because they get a Wednesday afternoon off but have to go in Saturday morning instead. It is the same in other countries where they might not teach ICT or Drama.

4. Private or Public? In the UK there are two types of education system:
Public is funded through taxes and is where the majority go.
Private is a tiny percentage of the population and has to pay fees.

10. Special schools
Some disabled people can’t go to normal schools so they go to special schools.
These schools cater for their needs while realising that they may not be able to go to a normal school.
Children with slight disability can go to a normal school but might have a helper to help them with their school work.
