2. Description
The Cyclone Filtration System – ALL TESTS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
We have manufactured the unit (completed).
Fitted to the test container (completed).
Run a heat load test without the filter (completed).
We can remove Approx. 6 kW worth of heat from the container , without the filter system (completed).
We can remove 3kW worth of heat from the container but have found that the filter restricts the fan flow and the fan gets hot (completed).
We have ordered another filter that is less restrictive and testing should start on Tuesday the 23rd of October (Complete)
We have also designed an air curtain which has 3 purposes- 1 ) To distribute the cool filtered air through the container . 2) To distribute the cool filtered air to various hot areas in the container via louvers .3 ) To act as a secondary filter if MTN decides to use the system without the paper filter(still to be discussed).
The air curtain has been designed and is in the process of being manufactured . It should be ready and fitted by the 29th of October (Complete)
The air curtain will be supplied in at least 3 configurations -1) With perforations 2) With fixed louvers 3) With 2 fixed louvers options. (No 1 Completed)
Once all of this is in place we will test and verify the air quality inside the container with the Cyclone air filter system operational. (In Progress)
Phasing the system into MTN
The system has been designed to be implemented in 3 stages
Stage 1 fitment of the cyclone filter and air curtain (retro fit to any site)
Stage 2 implementation of our mini PMC for control of the cyclone filter only(retro fit to any site)
Stage 3 implementation of our fully fledged PMC for total site control (retro fit to any site but more suited to new build sites)
