2. What is Tutor.com/military?
Tutor.com/military is a DoD-funded program that provides individualized on-demand online academic support 24/7 to eligible students in U.S. Military Families around the world.
Students work with a tutor one-to-one in real time using a secure online classroom.
Students of all skill levels work in an anonymous, secure, online classroom with a live expert tutor, at any time and from anywhere.
Providing students with personalized support at their moment of need is efficient, effective and life-changing.

3. Current Program Eligibility
Children (grades K-12) of an active duty service member (including full-time and/or deployed National Guard and Reserve) in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard and deployed DoD Civilian families
Active duty service members in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard (including full-time and/or deployed National Guard and Reserve)
Coast Guard reservists who are part-time/traditional drilling, their spouses and children are also eligible to use the program

4. Current Program Eligibility
Grades K-12 students and service members in active duty/full- time U.S. military families are eligible to use Tutor.com/military at no cost to them, regardless of where they’re stationed.
Also eligible to use the program at no cost: Service members and all dependents (spouse and grades K-college children) in Coast Guard active duty and Reserve families, through CGMA funding.

10. How does Tutor.com/military work?
Step 4: Student decides how to work with a tutor. If a tutor is needed right away, the student answers questions to start a tutoring session on-demand.
Students (age 13+) can also opt to drop off a paper to receive a tutor’s comments in 24 hours or schedule a future tutoring session.

11. Work 1:1 with a tutor in the secure classroom
Students and tutors communicate in the private online classroom by typing in the text chat box and by drawing on the interactive whiteboard. As the student draws, the tutor sees it and vice versa.

Students can upload documents (WORD, PDF, JPEG) to work on with a tutor.
Students can also take a photo of an assignment from a phone or tablet using the mobile app. Tutors have the ability to share relevant web resources.

13. Practice Quizzes www.tutor.com/military
Students (age 13+)can take practice quizzes to assess competency in specific areas. Once a quiz ends, the student can connect to a tutor to work on any missed questions.
