DATES:
Auditions are Thursday, May 3:45 p.m. Sign up time sheet is located outside Mr. Thompson’s classroom.
Rehearsal is DURING THE DAY by Grade Level Specials Time on Monday, May 16th (A Day)
Talent Shows are Wednesday, May 18th
K-3 is 9:00 a.m.
4th & 5th is 1:00 p.m.

2. Clean – absolutely no questionable language, clothing or topics.
LOCATION: Green Springs Cafeteria
Audience is seated in the gym; performers may come to the backstage area one act before their act is scheduled. 5th grade helpers will be onstage or backstage.
Each act must be:

All songs must be age appropriate in subject matter, and lyrics.
Please attach a copy of the lyrics to the form and give this form before the audition.

3. GUIDELINES:
1. In an effort to keep the time of the talent shows manageable, we would like for students who would like to perform in one event.
2. Each act may not exceed 3:00 minutes in length.
3. Each audition must show preparation, memorization, and practice and needs to include all props, costumes.
4. Singers: You may not sing with a recording that has someone else singing on it.
5. Each student must provide his/her own equipment (including CD, Mp3, etc.) necessary for the show OR make prior arrangements with Mr. Thompson. Mr. Thompson would prefer you give your CD to Mr. T. by Monday, May 2nd.

4. 6. Each student must be a courteous audience member during the auditions of other classmates, or his/her own audition will be disqualified.
7. Real food and/or liquid may not be used as props on the stage.
8. The “Act Information” sheet must be filled out and given to Mr. Thompson by everyone involved in the act before the audition may take place.
9. Once the info sheet is turned in, no changes may be made without consent from Dr. Wheat and Mr. Thompson
10. No lip-synching will be allowed. We would like for the talent show to include acts that showcase our students’ talents only!
