Things to Know

2 Admissions vs Registration
Admissions means: Becoming a WSU Student weber.edu/concurrent One time $30 fee Admissions MUST be completed by Sept 1, 5 pm

3 Admissions vs Registration
Admissions takes 2 business days Once applied and admitted to WSU you will be able to register for classes. To Register: Get user name and password Register for classes

4 Registration Registration deadlines is Sept 8, 2017 @ 5pm
$40 late fee if the registration deadline is missed Login with your WSU Credentials

5 Registration Read the Program Terms and Conditions

6 Registration Agree to the Terms and Conditions

7 Registration Proceed to Registration

8 Registration Select “Northridge High School”

9 Registration Add Desired Courses
You will need the Course Reserve Number (CRN) Enter the CRN and click Search NOTE: The CRNs for fall classes will be available Aug 23, 2017

10 Registration Once ALL classes are selected, click Register & Pay

11 NO FEES FOR CE CLASS ARE WAIVERABLE IN ANYWAY OR ANY FORM
Registration You are not done with registration until you have paid tuition to WSU There are separate fees for WSU and NHS WSU Application for Admissions - $30 (one time fee) WSU Tuition for Registration $5 per Credit Hour NHS Class Fee is Separate All NHS CE Engineering classes have a $50 fee This fee is paid to the main office at NHS NO FEES FOR CE CLASS ARE WAIVERABLE IN ANYWAY OR ANY FORM

12 Benefits of CE courses Scholarships
$2,000 for students Must complete 12 credits of CE in HS Minimum 3.0 GPA May be applied to the first year attending WSU Graduate from NHS with an Associates Degree! Talk to you counselor to get on track Engineering CE alone offers 23 Credits Harris & Moreno are…… Awesome?

13 CE grades go on your permanent college transcript
Grades will follow you to any and all universities Classes can be dropped in some cases, be careful! Students must complete and pass 66% or higher of all attempted university courses or it will effect student aide ($$$). Passing usually means a C or better at university

14 Steps to take Admitted (Online) Registered (Online) Paid
WSU (Online) NHS (Main Office) CE Participation Form Signed and returned to the instructor (Paper)

15 Do Not Miss Out Every year students who did not sign up wish they did
CE in HS is EXTREMELY worth it The actual cost to take only 6 credits at WSU is $1, By taking the course here at NHS you are saving over $1,400! As a WSU student you have access to: All WSU facilities Student services Accommodations
