Student Name(s) and collaborators Academic Department and School(s) If you have completed a research/creative inquiry project over the summer (and have results) use this template. Also, if you already have a poster from your summer presentation feel free to use that poster during Discovery Day! Introduction Results and Discussion Conclusions Here you should display and discuss your findings. This section can include pictures, charts/graphs, or text (using bullet points). If you provide diagrams, always include a brief description to highlight the major point. The boxes below can be adjusted or deleted to meet your needs. Your introduction should briefly address the following: What is your research question? What are other scholars saying about your topic? How do you fit into this conversation? What makes your study significant? Avoid using a significant amount of detail in this section. In other words, avoid lengthy definitions and descriptions. The goal is to quickly engage the reader and leave them wanting more information. (200 words max) Use Arial or Times New Roman font, size 36 or larger in all text boxes. The conclusion should summarize your findings and address the following: Did your findings support or refute your hypothesis? Why are your findings important?
