1 진실과 화해를 위한 입양인 모임 (TRACK)
TRACK is Truth and Reconciliation for the Adoption Community of Korea. TRACK is a group of internationally adopted Koreans and their friends and families based in Seoul. TRACK advocates for a full understanding of the practice of adoption, both past and present, to preserve the rights of children and families. 2 As many as 200,000 South Korean children have been sent
The Adoption Program  As many as 200,000 South Korean children have been sent to 15 Western countries since That means 1 million parents and grandparents have been separated from a child or grandchild. South Korea is the oldest mass-adoption program in the world, and it continues even today, with over 1,000 children sent overseas every year.

3 Building Our Society   Many adoptees now want to participate in Korean society, even if they are not in contact with their Korean families. We envision a world where the adoption community and Korean society have a mutual understanding allowing them to heal and create a bright collective future.

4 TRACK’s Achievements in its First Year
-- Presented six cases of mishandlings of adoptions and birth family searches to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission    --Participated in the National Assembly audit of the Ministry of Health Welfare and Family with Rep. Choi Young-Hee of the parliament's health and welfare committee to promote reunions of adoptees and their families. -- Gained fiscal sponsorship of Green Asia and legal representation of Gonggam lawyers.

6 Projects Law History -- Proposing changes to
-- Proposing changes to the current Korean adoption laws to protect children and their families with the help of the Gonggam lawyers. History -- Researching the history of Korean adoption based on interviews with birth families, adoptees, and adoptive parents. Our findings will ultimately be published in a white paper.

7 Outreach   -- Hosting a public shaman ceremony for healing to mark Adoption Day in May that will bring Korean adoptees and the Korean public together with their common ancestors. -- Participating in summer education programs with overseas Koreans. --Education for Korean adoptees in Seoul. -- Media coverage in Newsweek, My Daily, OhmyNews, The Korea Herald, Hankyoreh, Yonhap News, etc.
