Allison Subasic has been at Penn State in her present position of eight years. Before that, she was the first coordinator at U.C. Davis. Change has happened slowly, but there have been a lot of changes since her arrival.

2. From The Beginning Resource Room Created January 31, 1994
Move to SA 2001, 1st full-time director
Resources-Library, BBH251, Straight Talks, collaboration with CLGBTE in many areas-Support Network
Growth over first four years, staffing increase, office space increase, resource increase, intern positions increased etc.
University wide: Domestic Partner Benefits, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in non-discrimination statement, Rene Portland left, three changes in SA administration since 2001.
Originally, the Student Resource Center was a part of Educational Equity; the center had one small room, and Sue Rankin was the Coordinator. In 2001, the Center became a part of Student Affairs and Allison was the first full time director.
