I believe he cheated on her. She's over the dude, She's to good for him and fed up with him. The man thinks she won't be able to do better but she's good and knows her worth. He think she is making a mistake by replacing putting him out. She's basically saying she can replace him with no doubt.

Future is looking for some true love. He is looking for a lady who is honest and doesn’t cheat. I think he thinks its impossible to find her when the lights are off. He don’t want nobody to play with his heart. 13

He is talking about his grand mom that died. He is looking back at the sad and happy moments he had with his grand mom. He thanks her for always being in his life. He also talks about the support that his uncle gave. Drake spoke about how thankful he was for his Uncle and his Auntie. Drake talked about how Wayne put change in his life when he got a call that we won a Grammy Award. They helped him succeed his goal in life. 14

She is trying to reach out to an old friend. He used to like her but now he is unavailable. She's calling on him but he is no longer reachable. I think the person she is reaching out for is dead and she feels guilty. That’s why she said “it clearly doesn’t tear you apart anymore”. The song is about hurting someone’s feelings. 15

18. Poetic Analysis for Adele Hello
This song is obviously about a ex boyfriend that had died. It is about her reconnecting with him but she don’t know that he passed away. She's getting to know who she have became without realizing. When she said “the other side” she is talking about heaven I think. When she talks about a million miles she is talking about the distance between her and her lover. You can hear her emotions in the song and the different song verses. When it comes to love you can hear the exaggerations. When she states, “there’s such a difference between us/and a million miles”. She's uses this hyperbole to exaggerate the distance between the ex-lovers. I know that there can not be a “million miles” between the lovers, but it reveals how disconnected their relationship has become. The audience can visually picture what a great distance a million miles actually is. The poem and the visual share the theme that a lack of communication. Even though she has called “a thousand times”, without her ex-lover opening up the lines of communication, nothing can be resolved. She's uses a lot of figurative language by her saying “I must've called a thousand times”. He's been long forgotten about. Adele felt like she owed this unknown person a special apology. She was starting to find out where her journey was taking her. Adele is admitting to still being hurt over whatever may have happened with this person. All she wishes to do is apologize but she can’t even get a hold of this person. 16

I think 1+1 is about her and her lover being together and no matter what happens she will be there. 1+1 means, you refuse to let anything ruin your love that you and your partner have for one another. Your love heals you, when you think you're falling and the world's at war with you then their love will strengthen you, and everything falls into place. She's not going to let anything happen to him. She'll fight him. This song is about real love. She is singing about her beliefs within a relationship. She loves having him being by her side. Without him she wouldn’t know what to do. Shed do anything to keep him. 17

20. Overall Reflection
My thoughts on poetry throughout this project would be its fun. I learned that you don’t always have to rhyme to make poems. Poetry is a habit to people now and days. I think its like art because its creative. 18
