2 Participants 44 girls and 16 boys
Those with complete forms and cheques on the 16th were selected. 5 on waiting list Conditions of participation: good academic standing positive attitude to school and French (i.e. engaging in learning activities, completing homework and assignments, and making an effort to speak and improve their French) good behaviour All paperwork complete

3 Quebec Participants In Victoriaville, 22 girls and 8 boys
In St-Georges, 21 girls and 9 boys In Secondaire 2 – 13/14 years old but in 2nd year of high school Most live in houses and apartments in town but a few on farms Mostly French-Canadian heritage; all speak French at home, some English, no other languages

5 Costs You pay: $50 deposit
Spending money for trip to Quebec including snacks & meals en route Heath insurance All costs to host your twin – meals, transportation, weekend activities

All activities and transportation while in Quebec All transportation in Quebec All meals in Quebec

7 Central families pay: All activities in Victoria All transportation and meals for group days

Museum 0900– 1000 Tour of museum st Nations Program at Mungo Martin House 1100 walk to Fisherman’s Wharf Lunch at Barb’s Fish and Chips bus depart for CFB Esquimalt & ship tour 1300 – 1400 Tour of Naval ship 1500 Pick up at school; Go Home to pack 1800 – BBQ and Farewell activities at Elk Lake Day 8 Thursday June 17 Departure 0700 Arrive at everyone at Victoria International Airport Plane departs Au Revoir!!

13 Dates January 22-29th, 2014: All students travel to Quebec.
May 20-27: St-Georges group visits Victoria May 27-June 3: Victoriaville group visits Victoria

14 Committees Programme: Plan activities for the weeks when the Quebec students are here Budget: So how much do we need? Keeping track of it all Fundraising: Beg, borrow, steal, sell, … hmmm, child labour …. Hospitality: Welcome & Farewell Events, Swag, Gifts to host families in Quebec

15 Parent Chaperones Require 3 adults to come along and act as supervisors French/First Aid/ Know the students Accommodation in hotel or a home Let us know if you’re interested on the yellow form
