Introduction I will introduce the topic with the following quote:-
“Libraries are not made; they grow” by Augustine Birrell As quote mentioned that libraries are not made but they grow of course it grows with its resources. CD or DVD Rom is one of the resources which are the part of collections of any library. To understand the subject we will analyze both techniques ie traditional & modern for the management of said resources

Storage in plastic pouch Entry in the register For searching will go through the register For circulation we will make an entry in the register For reminder we will again check register For stock again we have to check the whole register against the available stock To conclude on traditional techniques my opinion is that the said techniques will consume more time in managing such type of resources

Conclusion From last couple of years there is drastic change in LIS field earlier user has to come to library but now a days we are attaining to the user. User expectation in today’s world are touching to the sky we should also try to fulfill them. It’s not that tuff even you can do that without help of modern techniques but you should know some mantras of user expectations. Mantra for User Expectations 1) 0% Tolerance for errors 2) Attention to detail 3) Not to rely on memory 4) Maintain credibility 5) Respect users & counter party's knowledge 6) Value of senior’s undertaking 7) One for all, all for our 8) Following processes of systems diligently without exceptions
