4. 2 Chronicles 1:7,10 (NLT) 7 That night God appeared to Solomon in a dream and said, “What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!” 10 Give me wisdom and knowledge to rule them properly, for who is able to govern this great nation of yours?”
What is the perfect couple in God’s Kingdom?
Think about when you met the love of your life.
What was it that attracted you to him or her?
Many times in the bible God described one of the most beautiful couples around who is more precious than rubies or gold.
Let me introduce you the couple name wisdom and knowledge.

5. Knowledge vs. Wisdom
Knowledge is the accumulation of facts and information. Wisdom is the synthesis of knowledge and experiences into insights that deepen one's understanding of relationships and the meaning of life. In other words, knowledge is a tool, and wisdom is the craft in which the tool is used.
To know something example I know how to cut wood. So I cut it to a certain size. Knowledge
To assure that the piece of wood is applied in the proper position so it can be used affectively. Wisdom-

6. 2 Chronicles 1:11-12(NLT) 11 God said to Solomon, “Because your greatest desire is to help your people, and you did not ask for personal wealth and honor or the death of your enemies or even a long life, but rather you asked for wisdom and knowledge to properly govern my people, 12 I will certainly give you the wisdom and knowledge you requested. And I will also give you riches, wealth, and honor such as no other king has ever had before you or will ever have again!”
Matt 6:33 Seek you first the kingdom of God and his righteousness All these things shall be added unto thee.
Ask yourself if God would have granted you a wish what would you have ask for.
I remember I dream of Jeani, cartoons with magic jeani’s coming out the lamp.
Solomon’s request was different. Imagine your friends looking at you crazy after you requested for wisdom and knowledge.
Solomon understood to walk according to God’s law that it would be difficult and he would need God’s help to lead people and to walk according to God’s plan.

7. Ephesians 1:16-17 (NLT) 16 I have never stopped thanking God for you
Ephesians 1:16-17 (NLT) 16 I have never stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
Paul understood that wisdom was very important for the Christians in Ephesus. He understood that the church needed to have spiritual wisdom in order to live for God.
Paul understood that the church must grow and for the growth to happen they needed to have wisdom and knowledge to learn how to battle things within and out of the church.
He also added understanding because you must understand why you have certain trials and how you were able to get through them just in case you face them again or you need to help someone in the church going through what you have already experienced.

8. Matthew 7:24-27 (NLT) 24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and obeys me is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse, because it is built on rock.
Jesus made it very clear if anyone should listen to his words they would be wise. He compared this to a building a house on a rock and sand.
Why do troubles come in many Christians life it’s because what they build their house upon. People in the family will give you all kinds advice but they won’t acknowledge that Jesus is Lord. YOU MAY NEED TO LOOK WHERE YOU ARE GETTING ADVICE FROM!!
Be careful who you seek advice from. Get with someone with spiritual wisdom and knowledge and ask God to give you wisdom and knowledge how to solve or conquer a problem.

9. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and ignores it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will fall with a mighty crash.”
When you have sought out the right road that leads to wisdom and knowledge your problem will not over take you and you want be washed away from the problems of life because your foundation is strong and built on the wisdom and knowledge of Christ through his word and spirit.
You shall not be moved.

10. Proverbs 2:12-19 (NLT) 12 Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose speech is corrupt. 13 These people turn from right ways to walk down dark and evil paths. 14 They rejoice in doing wrong, and they enjoy evil as it turns things upside down. 15 What they do is crooked, and their ways are wrong.
Why do the innocent sometimes get caught up in evil doings or even go to prison. Lack of wisdom and knowledge!!
Many times dealing with certain gangsters you had wannabees that thought it was cooled just to kick it with the thugs.
Little do they know you are known by the company you keep. Talk about transfer intent, conspiracy theory ranging from robbery, burglary, hot prowl etc.
Parents must have knowledge and wisdom in how to raise their children. Teaching the words of the bible about respecting parents, sitting in seat among backbiters and the scornful etc.

11. 16 Wisdom will save you from the immoral woman, from the flattery of the adulterous woman. 17 She has abandoned her husband and ignores the covenant she made before God. 18 Entering her house leads to death; it is the road to hell.* 19 The man who visits her is doomed. He will never reach the paths of life.
How many men and women or killed from cheating behind their husbands back. How many children are born without a father involved in their life after being caught up in a one night fling? In and out of all kinds of bedrooms. Why be with one woman and be miserable when you can be with many and be happy. That’s the world’s view of having relationship with someone until something tragic happens.
Knowing that this can be tragic the wise thing to do is don’t entertain it or fall into the trap.

12. Colossians 2:2-3 (NLT) 2 My goal is that they will be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have full confidence because they have complete understanding of God’s secret plan, which is Christ himself. 3 In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Paul understood the best couple in the spiritual life is wisdom and knowledge.
Once you knit these two together you will have complete understanding what God wants you to do.

13. James 3:17-18 (NLT) 17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no partiality and is always sincere. 18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness.
Here are the 5 fruits of wisdom and knowledge which is pure given from God to the believer.
It’s wise to be peaceful and not looking for any confrontations and learn to get along or just get away,
gentle- not looking to attack someone for what they did or said but learn how to talk and work things out in a gentle way, willing to yield to others by allowing some people just to be them and don’t tried to always debate with them and pray that God will give them wisdom. Bible said it’s senseless to argue with a foolish person.
Having mercy with someone even after they have done you wrong and show a good deed by inviting them out to lunch or bring them a blessing of some type to make peace.

14. James 1:5 (NLT)
If you need wisdom—if you want to know what God wants you to do—ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking.
1. The bible tells us we have not because we ask not. When we do ask its for the wrong reason and not according to God’s will.
I will go to church if God Blesses me with a new cadi or sports car. If you are sincere and need a car for church and ask God he will bless you with some type of transportation.
It may not be what you asking for ranging from the bus that goes pass your house everyday or the trolley then once he sees how faithful you are with a little he can give you a lot.
I believe God would honor your request more by asking him to give you the wisdom and knowledge how to save up to buy a car and help you be discipline in how you budget your finances.

15. Proverbs 11:30 (KJV)
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
How do you see the fruits of your wisdom in God’s Kingdom. There are many ways but one of them is by winning souls.
Some people can be very to win over to the Lord. It takes wisdom from God how to reach some sinners. But if you have been in the word and building your knowledge (TOOLS) in the word God will give you the wisdom to win souls. The hardest are normally ones within your family because of your relationship as family.
Soul winners are highly praised of in the Kingdom of God. The bible says the angels rejoice when a sinner comes to repentance.

Proverbs 8:33-36 (NLT) 33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. 34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. 36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
Wisdom in the bible is often compared as a beautiful woman. Once you joined the knowledge from your life experiences and the word of God with wisdom you have a the perfect couple and nothing will detour you or cause you to leave her. Always seek God’s instruction and wisdom through his Holy Spirit. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will comfort and teach you things. Ask for the wisdom and watch how God will bless your steps until the day you see his face.
You will ride off into the sunset with a peace and joyful smile.
