of 2 people (who are directly connected with event)

Story will follow Caught ya rules, be objective, use inverted pyramid style, third person writing, and short paragraphs

4. News Story - Examples One sporting event (of one HHS team)
A club elected new members, or held a fundraiser….
A group or individual went to a competition, won an award…
A local event (concert) happened, and people you interview performed, ran it..
Someone got into a car accident, got married, had things happen to them…

5. News Story – Due Dates
Plan Sheet – Topic, 5 W’s and H, 15 Interview Questions, Source List
10 points, due 9/2, 9/3
Two interviews, 20 questions total
20 points, due 9/8, 9/9
Rough draft with two edits
20 points, due 9/10
Final draft 50 points, due 9/11, 9/12
