When studying 20th century warfare, IB divides the conflicts into different “types” of war (total, limited, guerilla, civil, revolutionary). Is it possible for a war to be multiple types? Why or why not? Think of some examples!!! How did WWII impact European empires & colonies? Who was Charles de Gaulle? Despite European powers giving independence to colonies, France was willing to go to war to maintain control of Algeria. Make a prediction  why do you think this is? What would cause France to maintain tight control of Algeria?
