Limitations of 2016 MCAS and PARCC Data
No state comparative data for 2016 PARCC Unable to benchmark our performance to comparable districts Many comparable districts chose MCAS in 2016 No item-level data for PARCC Unable to assess strengths and weaknesses in curricula Unable to analyze for student misconceptions Next Generation MCAS Math and ELA begins this spring Science and Tech/Engineering standards transitioning, new STE test in 2018 or 2019
